I am now working full time Monday through Friday at another job. I am only booking appts on weekends and some evenings!!!
My health no longer allows me to groom full time so I have had to work another job. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for being patient with me. 🤍

With a heavy heart, I am no longer going to be taking appointments until further notice.
I have personal things that have to be dealt with before I will be able to return to work.
I appreciate all of my customers and the support I have received.
I hope to be able to resume this career in the future. 🤍🐾

Starting now, my scheduling will be very different. I have been struggling with my health lately and I have to take care of myself first.
I will only be accepting appointments for evenings and some weekends until further notice.

“I don’t care if they’re matted, I don’t want them shaved”

Matting is a condition in your dog's fur that is caused by dense tangles and knots (NOT BRUSHING YOUR DOG AND SAYING YOU DID). It's a painful condition that can lead to other health concerns such as infections or skin irritations and can also mask other health issues or parasites. Mats cut off the air flow in your dog's hair and can trap moisture, which can cause irritation and sores on your dog.

When your dog is matted, groomers are always gonna do what is best for your dog. In many cases, this means shaving the mats out of your dog. Shaving is not a “short cut” to get the job done quickly, it is a long and difficult process. We are working on areas of your dog where skin is thin, likely already irritated and sometimes their hair is being pulled because of tight mats. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts, etc… Not to mention, it is very painful for your pup :(
Do not get mad at the groomer for shaving your dog because you neglected to do your part.

Good morning everybody! ☀️
I just wanted to get on here and go over a few things with all my existing and new clients!

🐾I will no longer be bathing dogs outside. It is too cold. If you wouldn’t bathe outside in this weather, don’t expect me to put your pup through it. (They must have a bath in order to get a haircut. I won’t ruin my blades over it)

🐾if you have any symptoms of sickness, PLEASE reschedule. Some of us have bad immune systems that don’t fight off sickness very well.

🐾 I do not care to groom outside as long as it’s over 50 degrees. It’s hard to groom a dog when you can’t feel your fingers.

🐾 please remember that it gets dark pretty early now. If you schedule an evening appt, remember that I have to have lighting in order to do a good groom.
