Ocean Blue Danes Ocean Blue Danes is an enthusiast, exhibitor and breeder of quality black & blue Great Danes. Located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

At Ocean Blue Danes, we believe in producing quality Great Danes where the health, temperament, and conformation adheres to the guidelines set forth by the breed standard. The ultimate goal at Ocean Blue Danes is to produce healthy and happy Danes with an emphasis on temperament and longevity. Ocean Blue Danes is completely family and farm oriented. Our dogs do not live in kennels but rather as fa

mily members in our home. We have 2 fenced acres to run and play in and often take excursions to the park or beach. Despite having only acquired my first Dane in 2009, I have lived with this magnificent breed since I was about 5 years old. I can't think of a better way to learn the intricate details of the breed than to have grown up with Danes throughout my childhood. It was then that I learned the calm, caring, gentle, and intelligent nature of the Great Dane. It is the ability to recognize the specific features that embody the Great Dane that gives someone the ability to breed at the level and quality I have grown to expect. It is something that can only come with time, experience, and exposure to the breed.

Our Story

At Ocean Blue Danes we believe in producing quality Great Danes where the health, temperament, and conformation adheres to the guidelines set forth by the breed standard. The ultimate goal at Ocean Blue Danes is to produce healthy and happy Danes with a balance of correct structure, health and temperament. We are located in Palm Beach, Florida and are completely family oriented. Our dogs do not live in kennels but rather as family members. We have a fended yard to run and play in and often take excursions to the park or beach. I have been around and experienced this magnificent breed since I was about 5 years old, which equates to over 30 years experience already! And yes, one can argue that significant experience could not have been attained at so young an age. However, I can't think of a better way to learn the intricate details of the breed than to have grown up with Danes throughout my childhood. It was then that I learned the calm, caring, gentle, and intelligent nature of the Great Dane. Eventually, I was able to identify the characteristic conformation and other details associated with the breed. It is the ability to recognize these features that gives someone the ability to breed at the level and quality I have grown to expect. These are not things that a person easily recognizes when first introduced to a breed of dog. Rather, it is something that can only come with time, experience, and exposure to the breed.
