Here is a question that I receive periodically.
How long does it take to train my puppy for the basic puppy obidiance ?
Answer !
Depending upon the puppy ( they are all different ) but typically I recommend 6 -8 weeks 1 or 2 hours per week with a experienced trainer, yes I also recommend homework ( alot of homework ) practice what they teach you.
They are not just teaching the puppy a good trainer will teach you how to train, when to train, why to train.
They should be able to instruct you all about puppy behaviors, specifically the traits of the breed of the puppy.
With proper training following the instructions given your puppy should be solid in the bare minimum of obidiance ( remember it is a puppy ).
There will be ups and downs. Keep on track with the training, make time to train before negative behaviors set in.
Now go play and train with your puppy !

Tonight's training was absolutely fantastic and beneficial for the dogs and especially the residents at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.
I absolutely cannot be happier about all four of the dogs behaviors, they was on their A game again.
These k9s was as caring as their handlers, and their Christmas spirit shined.
Thank you all. Margaret, Barb, Madison, Sydney. You all have a special place in my life.

Balanced Behavior k9 obedience training.
Has decided to add ( large Breed ) dog Obedience, Solcilization, Confidence Building class to Saturday afternoon December 7th at 130pm ,this class will be geared for refreshing everything you may have forgotten about training your dog. It will also be a fantastic training experience for reactive behaviors.
Once again limited to only 5 dogs.
It will be indoors.
