Question: What is acuscope?

Stacey “The Client”: I am not sure, but I think it is some kind of electric current that goes in the body and helps with circulation. I can tell you that my horse feels great, and I have seen the amazing results of treatment and healing on our horse who suffered from a bowed tendon.

Stacey “The ATS certified therapist”:
🐴 Well, let me tell you what I have learned. The Electro-Acuscope/Myopulse is an FDA approved microcurrent modality. The system has been approved for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. It has also been approved for pain management. When used properly, it can improve the recovery rate by a minimum of 50%. It uses microcurrent which is the amount of current that is generated naturally in the body. The body recognizes this and responds more efficiently.
It uses a biofeedback system which gives digital readouts of both cellular function and dysfunction. The biofeedback system has 3 components which allows the instruments to constantly monitor and adjust to what the individual horse requires at the time of the treatment. The first component is the biofeedback loop, which gathers the information and adjusts the output every 5 milliseconds which is pretty fast.

🐴The second component is the computer circuitry which is pre-programmed with information for animal tissue with norms for cellular function allowing the instrument to know what the body needs or requires.

🐴The third component is the infinite variable wave form, meaning that it is forever changing. This is not a fixed output instrument and there won’t be a chance for overstimulation of the body.
This system has evaluation capabilities. It can take digital readings all through the body and pinpoint areas with cellular dysfunction or hyperactive areas that need to be normalized.

🐴The Electro Acuscope is the primary instrument, and it works on the Central Nervous System (CNS) where all the nerves originate. It uses a square wave form which accesses the nervous system and attempts to normalize the level of current in the cells. It also has indirect access to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bone. It also gives digital readings to monitor treatments. The readings are comprised of levels of conductivity, resistance, and impedance.
The Myopulse is the companion instrument to the Acuscope. It has direct access to the soft and connective tissue. It uses a sloped waveform to normalize the electro-magnetic field that supports the soft and connective tissue. It also has a biofeedback function.
Together, these two instruments are comprised of the most technologically advanced electronic therapy modality available. The system assists with general preventative maintenance, general maintenance, recovery and the healing of the cells, nerves, muscles, and the connective and soft tissues. It allows us to offer the horse a non-invasive form of pain management.🐴💜💜💜
