Part of my joining process is using a rip saw and two roller stands. This gives 2 boards a nice clean edge to join together.

Yesterday my little boy wouldn't take a nap, so I had an idea.
"Gavril, you want to go build something in Papa's shop?" Immediately his eyes light up and asks, "Airplane??"
So we threw on some shoes and went and built this simple, 5-minute, scrap wood airplane.
I'm certain that if this toy was sitting on a shelf in the store he would pass it right up. But the fact that he put his hands in the process of creating it gave him something to be proud of, and boy does he love that plane!

So here's my question.. Who would be interested in some simple toys that you and your kid could "build" yourself??
