Why the WAGS WAGON ?
The WAGS WAGON is a training tool and program that assist you in the first and most important time period of your puppies upbringing and training program. This program is my program and I’ve been utilizing it for almost 30 years. I am a behaviorist that specializes in bad behaviors and aggression. I also Board ,train ,raise and rescue dogs and I am an AKC, CGC Certifier. I am also the owner and developer of Safe & Social Pet Products LLC
For the past almost 30 years I have been Jimmy rigging wagons for not only my personal training but all of my clients as well. No more jimmy rigging for me, the Wags Wagon has some awesome features : stainless steel food and water bowls , removable for easy cleaning and convenience. The comfortable go pad in the bed of the Wagon for extreme comfort, along with storage space in the floor of the WW for needed items while on the go , a parking brake for safety, P**p bag dispenser and holder ( no more walking around with a full bag of p**p ) built in tie down that goes from the belly of the wagon to the under belly of your dogs harness made specifically for your puppy / dog and the Wags Wagon. This harness and tie down will avoid your puppy or dog from jumping out or over the edge of your wagon , in turn keeping your dog safe and social. And did I mention the awesome fact that this Wags Wagon can take you down the city sidewalks or across the hot sand ? Yep, the Wags Wagon has wheels that were specifically created so when you get to the beach and that sand is burning hot, no worries about your dogs paws 🐾, your Wags Wagon is very beach and sand friendly. The water bowls even offer a safe play station for the younger less mobile children in the family to safely play and keep busy while the older kids play in the ocean.
The wags wagon has many positive training benefits. One of the benefits is getting your puppy out into the public without risk of disease and getting him out prior to it being fully vaccinated.
The very most important time to desensitize and expose your puppy to noises, new visuals, strangers, bikes, motorcycles, Garbage trucks etc. is the first 5 months of age. The Wags Wagon believe it or not will also train your puppy to follow along on leash, when that time comes for your puppy to start leash training. Yep dogs are habitual , your puppy will be far more willing to follow along after having followed you in the Wags Wagon for 4-6 weeks. You will use the same commands as though you were walking your puppy on leash. I say to my puppies, “ Ok let’s roll “ obviously that means let’s get moving forward. Transitioning from Wagon to leash will be a breeze and their will be no dragging your puppy down the sidewalk.
Another positive? Dogs like a spot or a place to settle. For example , you go to a patio lunch with the family and want to bring your puppy. The Wags Wagon offers your puppy a safe place to rest , up off of the dirty ground and on the nice Wags pad that will be an available option for your wagon.
The Wags Wagon is fully equipped with all the necessities that your dog would need on either a quick walk or an all day outing.
In my training program I train my clients dogs and my own dogs to a “spot” This also translates to , a crate, a bed and even a cot. The dog relates to their spot as a safe place. Dogs like rules and they want to please. They, like people need space and quiet time. The Wags Wagon acts as that spot , giving them a quiet and relaxing spot to rest and they do just that because they know that they are safe.
The Wags wagon is not only convenient for your puppies training program but it’s kid friendly too, they love to ride along with the family dog, play in the water bowls at the park or beach and even take a nap in it. Don’t forget about the old arthritic dogs that still love to get out , and how about that blind dog or disabled dog ? The Wags Wagon is the most versatile Wagon out there accommodating for everybody in the family.
I am pretty sure that I will be the most excited to get my hands on this Wags Wagon , as it’s been a 30 yr wait and a dream come true.
