A reminder to always meet your dog where they are. Meeting a dog where they are reduces frustration, increases learning potential and builds a trusting, working relationship. (pst. It does the same things for people too.)

For this week’s , I wanted to share my personal motivation. There’s a lot, so hang tight.

My immediate motivation to start training is my girl, Gypsy. She’s about 1.5 years old and still a ball of energy. Like, runs her feet raw without noticing kind of energy. For everyone sanity, training and calming was a necessity.

But aside from her, my time as a vet tech has shown me first hand how confusing and overwhelming canine health and behavior can be, especially for those searching for answers on their own.

So I’m here for all of you overwhelmed, confused dog parents. Maybe you’re a first time dog parent, or maybe the pup that spoke to your heart seems to be “unmanageable”. Message me! I’m here for YOU.

So proud of Rigby for learning so quickly! “Focus” is an important command to learn while she’s young, so that she always pays attention to Mom, regardless of what’s going on around her. Watch with the sound on to be extra impressed! This makes other commands much easier to learn. DM me for tips on how to teach “focus”!
