It’s been a wild weekend! Started off Saturday packing in elk hunters only to find some one stole our tent and stove. So today we got to pack in another tent and stove for them. Preston got a call from asking for help packing an elk out. Yesterday morning we thought we’ll sure we will pack these guys in and head over. (This was before the day took a turn!)So after we got back to the truck we headed up another side of the mountain to pack an elk out! It was an adventure. And I’ll admit I just about chickened out packing the elk out when we left the truck in the dark. I’m very glad I didn’t! That topped off the crap day we had up until that point! The hunters are happy and cozy tonight. Be on the look out for a cabelas guide series tent being sold cheap or dumped some where. And a heavy dang stove. The people had to have had atleast one pack animal.

I had a great day gathering cows for the RV bar ranch today! It’s started off chilly but it turned into one heck of a day. There was 4 horses I started on the mountain today 2 ridden by their owners the one I was riding and I ponied Cowboy along for the experience. It makes me so happy to see people that bring me horses be able to get on them and go to work. Thank you for letting me tag along.

Lilly’s turn on the bridge!

This is just a short clip of me working this little filly off of sisco. He hasn’t really been used to work young horses. He’s ponied a lot of them. But not much in the round pen. He has tossed his head and switched his tail since the day I started him. Use to bug me. Now I just live with it. One day he will stop maybe. Maybe!

Nothing like a bath after a good training session!

This was UNO’s first time in the arena first time out of the round pen! And the first time Colby Caldwell rode him!

It was kind of choppy but they got it done! I love exposing young horses to anything we can you never know if they will do something until they try it!

This little horse has been a challenge! But he is turning out nicely! He wasn’t to sure what to think of those tapaderos the first time he got that saddle thrown on him after having normal stirrups every time! Colby Caldwell I give you crap for them but if you like them that’s all that matters!
