Night times with my favorite ponies!!!
Moose loves Coat Defense baths!! We love using coat defense to keep crud at bay. Thanks to Hurricane Debby everyone’s skin is flaring up and we are so thankful to have Coat Defense to get it under control.
Gauging interest in a clinic with Hilda Donahue on Monday, September 2nd. It’s Labor Day, so want to check interest before I say yes! Outside riders welcome
Coming soon :
A Second Chance aka Tobi
Tobi is a 15.3 gelding who has evented through recognized BN with previous owner. Tobi is nice on the flat, more of a kick ride for most riders unless you have an electric seat, and point and shoot over fences.
Tobi stands for vet and farrier, loads, stands to be bathed and loves to be loved on. First to greet you at the fence. He can be a bit nervous off property the first ride but settles in super.
Tobi does require a consistent work schedule and his owners time does not allow that to happen currently. He is a great horse, but needs to find his person!
We will have more pics and videos in the next week.

You definitely did not win the dressage yesterday Buzz. But I suppose todays cross country round makes up for it.
So thankful for these three girls. The barn wouldn’t run smoothly without them, especially Kimberly.
I love seeing the hard work they put in to these horses they have. They aren’t always easy and require a lot of work but I love that they are determined to create their own horses from the bottom up!
A great weekend vacation but happy to be back with my horses and prepping for River Glen this weekend
Meet Bruce, a 16.0 12 yr old Percheron/tb gelding. If you love our horse Harry Trotter you will love him! Kick ride, goes over small fences, and has a nice rocking horse canter. Has basic leg yields and the start of turn on the haunches. He is out of shape currently and hasn’t been in work due to no fault of his own. Good for farrier.
Located in Callahan FL.
Will have better pictures soon

Tak For Farven Flies the Flag for U.S. Breeders
Introducing BG, a 3-year-old appendix gelding standing at 15.1 hands, offered by KH Eventing!
BG is a sweet young horse who's easy to handle: he loads, ties, stands quietly for the farrier and vet, and enjoys baths. He's currently barefoot and still growing, standing at 15.1 hands tall.
Under saddle, BG is doing great for his age. He listens well and knows how to walk, trot, canter, and jump small cross rails. He's also brave, handling small banks and has hauled all over the place. Opens gates as well. He's 3 years old, so he has some playful moments, but he's good for a capable young rider to work with. He was in training to be a polo pony before being bought by current owner
Located in Callahan, FL, with a video available upon request.
Priced in the mid 4 figures, BG is a wonderful choice for someone looking for a promising horse to grow and learn with.
Bringing along young horses is full of ups and downs. Developing Klaus’s canter has been a huge battle and we still have a long way to go, but it’s very hard to contain a 17.2 4 yr old. Very impressed and can’t wait to see it continue to improve!
Flyers first canter today! This video is the first time cantering. Very impressed by the natural balance of this horse!!!
Three years in the making but I am so proud of Flyer. This is our first ride off the lunge line. The brains on these Tempest WT babies are unbeatable! Will always make room to start these babies.
Congratulations to Caroline on her new horse Valentina Mia! Can’t wait to see them build a partnership! Thank you Jessica Pye for helping us make this match.
Get ready with Buzz and I for cross country yesterday at Bouckaert Farm @ Chattahoochee Hills. Using the Coat Defense powder in our cross country boots to help with potential rubs! The Correct Connect breastplate is our go to for cross country.
Cannot wait for the US Event Horse Futurity with Tak for Farven. Also cannot wait to get him out competing after we had a minor set back this summer!
Congratulations to the Bryan family on their purchase of Che Serai!

Hilda will not be here July 3rd. I will update when we have a reschedule date!
Huge congratulations to Katherine on her purchase of Candys Revenge! So glad a good friend of mines horse could stay within the barn family!
Just a wiggly baby pony but I can wait to see where this one is at in a year because wow!
The last time Belle had one of these was a surprise. But we can’t wait to see what comes next year! New future lesson pony??
How did I get so lucky with these two boys? Buzz in the 1.20 and Klaus jumping his first 1.0 round.
Klaus is getting geared up for The US Event Horse Futurity! We head to Bouckaert Farm at the end of the month for his first Novice!
Love seeing all my boys going places together! I can’t believe flyer is 3 and is getting going!
Putting feelers out for Hilda lessons on July 3rd. Any interest?
Buzz says it’s hot today and he eats popsicles if anyone wants to share!

Buzz show jumping at Ocala Winter II. First double clear SJ at Intermediate!
Klaus “Tak for Farven” took in his first recognized event yesterday. Dressage left a lot to be desired. Judges comments included “ Beautiful and clearly talented horse that was distracted today”. He blew me away in the jump phases though. A nice double clear show jumping round and a super xc with some time. This is the first time we’ve asked him to jump xc in a course somewhere he hasn’t schooled first. The US Event Horse Futurity
We had a great learning weekend with the best show jump round we have jumped Cross Country was a blast with two rider errors but we got home in a tough division and finished 6th!
Not perfect, but wouldn’t expect a green 4 year old to be perfect around his first beginner novice course! Good boy Klaus!
Sometimes I question if the long days are worth it between riding my own, my training horses, and lessons. Then I get something like this from my lesson students which remind me exactly how worth it this really is!
Here is the winning 3-3’3 jumper round from Buzz at the Florida All Breed Horse Show Series. Thank you so much for a great show. Fastest time of the day by 4 seconds!
You just can’t help but laugh at Buzz sometimes. Another fun one with sound. Getting back into work after a little time off!
So much to say about this weekend and so proud of everyone! That post will be later because I still have a 5 hour drive home. But huge thanks to Rick Wallace and Briggs Surratt for the video and for all the help this weekend and leading up to the show. Thanks to Hilda Donahue for stepping in for show jumping as well! And to Kimberly Forster for dealing with the wild child all weekend. It takes a village including Rigdon Veterinary Services and Alex Chambless keeping this horse fit and going. Thankful to have a great team behind us!
