For years our annual client appreciation event has been a catalyst for supporting non-profit organizations that align with YOUR passions and values. This year, your overwhelming participation played a significant role in our decision to support not 1 but 3 amazing organizations! With that, our team was proud to make a $1,000 donation to Christina's House in Springfield, The Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Holyoke, and JM Animal Training in Belchertown, MA!

Black dogs are often chosen last, euthanized more frequently and abandoned more than any other colored dog. Personally they're my favorite. Show us your beautiful, loved black dogs!

We are so excited! Benny began his transition period today. He is with his placement getting to figure out the routine and nuances of his persons needs. Way to go Benny! You've got this!

Rebel is "Ruffin" it in Maine for a long weekend getaway! This is vital for her as she is learning to sleep in unfamiliar places and to be away from me for a long stretch of time. We are always so thankful for our volunteers like Morgan who give so selflessly to help us help others! ♡ Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Morgan!

Today we celebrate the backbone of JMAT. She runs the organization and is often overlooked because her work is less visible than some. She is a bright spot to all who meet her and we are so grateful that she is our everything person. She is an advocate for service dogs and their handelrs as well as persons with disabilities. She makes the world brighter by just being herself. Jaclyn Lamacchia we are all honored and thankful you are part of our team. Thank you for the time, energy, and devotion you give to us all! Happy Birthday!

Rosie went on am outing for the first time since her adventures! She did great at the Greenfield Farmer's Market. Rebel went along for moral support but the focus was in Rosie and letting her get her groove back!

Rebel has been very busy lately. She goes to UMass twice a week as well as grocery shopping, dog classes, and so much more. Her is handled by several different people and responds well to them all. She is amazing and we are all so happy with her progress!

Nutrition is an important part of Rosie's Road to Recovery. She will be given several small nutrition packed meals a day. These meals will be designed to be gentle on her digestive system while helping her gain back the weight she has lost. Breakfast today is boiled hamburg, rice and goats milk.

Benny exceeding expectations at the fair!
Mental stimulation is just as important as training tasks. On those hot hot days Scooby likes to play with his button treat dispenser to keep himself busy! I actually use it as a slow feeder and put his kibble in it so the fun can last a little longer. 😁 Chrystal
Scooby is task-trained in grounding, deep pressure, and behavior interruption. He rocks at helping me while I’m driving. Here is a training video of task “shoulder” which provides grounding and deep pressure. Sorry for the squished video, not sure why it did that. Chrystal
This is what 17 looks like on a well loved lab. Every day is a gift with her. She has saved countless lives and has created so many opportunities for Mikael, as well as others, to live fuller and happier lives. She is truly our Queen. #rizzotheservicedog
Rizzo on her daily chariot ride. Even storms can't stop her!
As many of you know Rizzo is the reason JMAT exists. She is our first, our best and our brightest service dog. She is also 17 years old. She enjoys being outside but with arthritis and pins in her back legs from an accident as a puppy she struggles to run. K.C. and Mikael take her for bike rides so she may enjoy the smells and freedom it provides. As her time with us draws near her comfort and quality of life take precedence over everything else. She is our heart and soul. #Rizzotheservicedog
