Well, fish lovers, I think we've just had a full tank death due to over zealous disinfecting. All fish gasping and a weird sticky slick on the surface (marine tank). Looked it up...although alcohol and water usually mix, a process called "salting out" where there is salt in the water, causes the alcohol to float. I'm assuming this prevents oxygen from mixing into the water. It's all conjecture, but remember to not spray any cleaning agents or sanitizers near your tank.

New fish came out about two months ago called Candy Cane tetra....now all colored up and a really awesome tetra! And hardy! Also GLO technology has reached the tetra family....electric green tetra ( a white tetra with GLO) finally an answer to all those people who think freshwater fish aren't "colorful" enough.....dare we hope for purple passion, neon orange, and fuchsia?? BTW all you saltwater snobs, GLO fish cost much less and last a lot longer than any fragile marine fish!
