What type of dog (s) do you have?

My dogs are snickerdoodle, a 6 year old bordercollie poodle mix, and Rising, a 3 year old Black lab golden retriever.

What is your favorite part of being a dog trainer?

My heart will always belong to service dogs, especially our sense dogs who are able to alerts to a variety of conditions beforehand, because that is a part of my life, and the main reason that we started this business. But my favorite part about being a Dog Trainer is seeing the transformation from dogs were struggling so much, to a happy dog, was able to be around people and dogs off leash and playing with them like any normal Dog would.

Everything You Wanted to Know about EDS, POTS, and MCAS But Were Afraid (or maybe didn’t even know) to Ask!

Sarah Ballard, M.A., and owner of Dog Training Elite Colorado (Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder) has been diagnosed with these three conditions. While Sarah is not a medical doctor, she has advised countless individuals diagnosed with EDS, POTS, and MCAS across the nation in addition to training service dogs for this unique group of people. During this 1 hour seminar, she will share about:

What EDS, POTS, and MCAS are
Her own and her family’s experiences with the trifecta
Offer recommendations for navigating the medical system
Explain why service dogs embody “Every Percent Matters” for those with EDS, POTS, MCAS and other chronic and misunderstood illnesses
Explain why individuals with this trifecta call themselves “zebras”
This seminar will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 7-8 pm at the Dog Training Elite Denver Training facility at 1460 W. Canal Court, Suite 102, Littleton, CO, 80120. Facility and parking are on the backside the building. Light refreshments will be provided. We ask that you RSVP so we can plan!

Join our fast-growing pack here at Dog Training Elite! Our team is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person with a passion for helping our Brand grow and ensuring our users operate to the highest potential on the systems/tools provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions on various brand-wide systems, including the CRM, G-Suite, Twilio, LearningZen and DogStar DMS
• Document and communicate user account details per franchise to the billing department for accurate Tech Fee billing
• Provide support on user system issues as they arise
• Manage various pilot and Beta programs to improve systems as needed, identifying key regional participants, and gathering feedback to determine a brand-wide fit
• Plan, develop, and conduct individual and group training related to brand-wide systems
• Monitor system production to ensure compliance and quality
• Develop documents and videos for automated system procedures, manuals, and requirements
• Promote a culture of feedback and communication as we work to improve processes
• Help identify process improvements
• Help implement process changes
• Create, enhance, and improve various documents and videos on a bi-lingual scale
• Coordinate projects with other team members as needed

Salary: $44,000 with potential increase after 90-day review
Benefits:
• Medical/Dental benefits
• 10 days paid flex time (after 90-day probationary period)
• 2 paid volunteer days per calendar year
• Dog Training Services for personal dogs
