Meet Callie! 🧡

Callie is a beautiful 17-year-old calico queen living her golden years in style. While she’s mostly deaf, she is also delightfully vocal and deeply affectionate.

During our time together, Callie often followed the sun across the house, finding the warmest spots to nap in. On quieter days, we’d lounge together in those sunbeams and enjoy calm cuddle sessions. ☀️

Callie has a few medical conditions that require consistent monitoring, so I ensured she always had fresh food, water, and a clean feeding area. I’d wash her dishes, refill her dry food, and serve her favorite Sheba wet food . In the evenings, she looked forward to her fish fillet from .

When she was feeling playful, we’d have some gentle enrichment with her ball track toy or batting around a few soft loose toys. Even as an older kitty, Cal still has a bit of kitten in her!

Meet Baby and Howie! 🤍

These two cuties are just as sweet as they look. Can we take a moment to appreciate their matching socks, too? 😻

Baby is a playful and curious beauty who loves chasing toys and watching the world go by from her favorite windowsill. Her brother, Howard, is a dashing little gentleman who enjoys backyard adventures and surveying his kingdom from the garden.

During our visits, Howie and Baby always kept me company while I handled their daily cat chores: washing dishes, refreshing food and water, scooping the litter box, and tidying up any tracked litter. Once the essentials were taken care of, it was playtime!

Since they didn’t have many toys of their own, I donated a new ribbon wand toy. It was an instant hit! Watching them pounce and chase together was pure entertainment.

Whether it's chores or cuddles, these two make every moment a joy. 🖤

Meet Ollie! 🧡

Ollie is a sweet and rare female orange tabby who’s left her feral days behind for a life of sunshine and love. After spending part of her life outdoors, she’s now thriving in a safe, cozy home with a caring family. These days, Ollie Bear can usually be found lounging in her catio, soaking up the sun and watching the world go by.

When she’s not enjoying a sun-filled petting session, Olls loves zooming through tunnels and chasing her favorite bee wand toy. She also spends quiet time with the mellow backyard colony cats, who have welcomed her with open paws. 🐾

Robert and I had such a busy and beautiful end to April and start to May! 🤎

On Thursday, April 30th, we drove a total of six hours to bring Nina to her new home. In just a few days, she’s already settling in wonderfully and making the space her own. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued love and support from all of you. Neens and I shared a special journey, and I’m so thankful she’s now in a home full of love.

The next day, Friday, May 1st, my mom and younger sister visited us in Berkeley for a quick trip. We took a ferry to Alcatraz Island and spent the day exploring before heading to Santa Cruz the following morning for a wedding.

Before I chose to attend Cal, my heart was originally set on UCSC. While in Santa Cruz, we passed the hotel I stayed at when I toured the school and recognized many familiar small businesses. It was a sweet trip down memory lane.

This was also the first wedding I've ever attended, and I felt honored to be part of such a heartfelt and joyful celebration. The lodge was nestled among gorgeous redwoods, and at dusk and dawn, the sounds of birds and rustling leaves created a peaceful, grounding atmosphere.

It was the perfect weekend to pause, reflect, and share time with the people I love. Now I’m back in the Bay and feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to take on the month of May!

Happy from two of my best buddies, Huey and Harvey! 🖤

Huey is a sleek black kitty with striking green eyes. While he’s usually shy around new people, he and I connected right away during our first visit. Harvey, his older but wildly energetic brother, is full of personality and always ready to make a new friend.

Every visit starts with the boys circling around me as I serve their wet food , check on their Air Automatic Feeder, refresh their water fountain, and tidy up their Litter-Robot 4 filled with .

I’ve been lucky to care for Huey and Harvey for quite some time now. I still think back to our early days watching the sunset together on the balcony and soaking up warm summer evenings. These days, our time is spent curled up for lap cuddles and chasing toys across the living room.

Caring for them feels like catching up with old friends. 🩶

The Crew made the most of yesterday’s sunshine. ☀️

Sweetie stretched out on our Hexaflora Cat Tree from , letting the warm rays hit her just right. Dottie claimed her favorite window seat—the Cloud Nine hammock from —for prime sunbathing views. And Biggie... Well, Biggie just wanted to be as close to me as possible. He settled onto our Teddy Sofa from , soaking up the sun and all the cuddles. 🤎

I recently cared for Oso and Theo, and I could not believe how big Oso has grown to be in the span of a few months!

I introduced you all to him back in August of last year. Today, he is almost the same size as Theo! Oso's fluffy coat has grown in nicely, too. Both of the boys are so soft that they feel like cozy little blankets.

After 7 months of adjusting to each other, the babies are bonding well, which is wonderful to see since I've cared for Theo for a long time.

When they aren't meowing at the Granary feeder, Theo and Oso enjoy eating wet food and chewing on silvervine sticks from . They have destroyed a few wand toys from , so I'll need to gift a few next time I visit!
