Happy from two of my best buddies, Huey and Harvey! 🖤

Huey is a sleek black kitty with striking green eyes. While he’s usually shy around new people, he and I connected right away during our first visit. Harvey, his older but wildly energetic brother, is full of personality and always ready to make a new friend.

Every visit starts with the boys circling around me as I serve their wet food , check on their Air Automatic Feeder, refresh their water fountain, and tidy up their Litter-Robot 4 filled with .

I’ve been lucky to care for Huey and Harvey for quite some time now. I still think back to our early days watching the sunset together on the balcony and soaking up warm summer evenings. These days, our time is spent curled up for lap cuddles and chasing toys across the living room.

Caring for them feels like catching up with old friends. 🩶

The Crew made the most of yesterday’s sunshine. ☀️

Sweetie stretched out on our Hexaflora Cat Tree from , letting the warm rays hit her just right. Dottie claimed her favorite window seat—the Cloud Nine hammock from —for prime sunbathing views. And Biggie... Well, Biggie just wanted to be as close to me as possible. He settled onto our Teddy Sofa from , soaking up the sun and all the cuddles. 🤎

Warm, lazy mornings like these are our favorite. 🥰

I recently cared for Oso and Theo, and I could not believe how big Oso has grown to be in the span of a few months!

I introduced you all to him back in August of last year. Today, he is almost the same size as Theo! Oso's fluffy coat has grown in nicely, too. Both of the boys are so soft that they feel like cozy little blankets.

After 7 months of adjusting to each other, the babies are bonding well, which is wonderful to see since I've cared for Theo for a long time.

When they aren't meowing at the Granary feeder, Theo and Oso enjoy eating wet food and chewing on silvervine sticks from . They have destroyed a few wand toys from , so I'll need to gift a few next time I visit!

This past Wednesday, Robert and I finally took a long-awaited trip to Alcatraz Island! 🚢

Despite living in the Bay Area, I rarely get the chance to explore local landmarks since my schedule is packed with cat sitting. But with a rare slow day, we knew it was the perfect time for an Alcatraz adventure.

We took the ferry from San Francisco’s Pier 33 at around 11 AM, and as soon as we arrived, I was blown away by how massive the island is. I always see it from a distance while driving over the Bay Bridge, but standing on "The Rock" itself was surreal. Even funnier—Robert and I grew up playing Call of Duty, and I immediately recognized many areas from the Alcatraz map! 🗺

The audio tour took us through the prison cells, historic blocks, and stories of the infamous inmates who once lived there. Many personal items, including some beautiful artwork, have been remarkably preserved. Outside, the views of San Francisco, the sea birds, and the Golden Gate Bridge were absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the Bay Bridge from a whole new angle was pretty cool, too!

By the end of our trip, I was back to cat sitting in the city with baby Mushu. I think he was as tired as I was!

Manny has some big life changes ahead! ✨

Very soon, he’ll be moving from to to prepare for the arrival of a new baby sibling—how exciting! I’ve been caring for Manny since he was just a few months old, and now that he’s grown into a young adult, it’s so sweet to imagine him with a little one running around one day. 🐾

Here are some snapshots from my trip to QTO this past week! 🇲🇽✨

As a cat mom and foster, and as a full-time professional cat sitter, I rarely take time off. After the non-stop chaos of the 2024 holiday season, my partner and I decided that January was the perfect time for a much-needed break.

I had the privilege of visiting his family in Mexico and exploring the beautiful city they call home. From the breathtaking Peña de Bernal to the charming towns of Ezequiel Montes and Tequisquiapan, every stop was rich in history, culture, and incredible hospitality. Everyone I met was so kind and welcoming—I truly felt at home.

Six days and several long flights later, the Crew is thrilled to have us back! Now that I’m home, I’m diving right back into cat sitting and spending time with my kitty friends here in the Bay Area. Thank you all for your patience while I took a little time to recharge—I’m so happy to be here and serving you all! ❤️

Every time I visit Kira and Dax, I’m amazed at how much they’ve grown!

I’ve been caring for this adorable duo since they were just 16 weeks old, and one of the best parts of my profession is the privilege of watching kittens grow into playful, loving adults. 🐾

Even now, Dax and Kira are just as snuggly and playful as ever! During our visits, we soak up the sunshine while cuddling, followed by energetic play sessions with their favorite worm wand toy. Thanks to their trusty handling litter duty, we get to focus on the fun stuff—like enjoying delicious treats during mealtime. 🍴

RhoRho has been an absolute champ with her medications this past week! 🤎

With asthma and anxiety, she uses an AeroKat Chamber (inhaler) twice daily and takes a Gabapentin capsule each morning to help ease her stress. In the evenings, her hyperthyroidism is managed with Felimazole, which is gently applied to her ears. The secret to her success? Freeze-dried chicken treats from .pdx. She’ll do just about anything for them! 🍗

As a professional cat sitter certified in CPCR and first aid, I have years of experience safely administering medications to cats of all ages and needs. Thanks to my ongoing training with and , I prioritize keeping every cat I care for as stress-free and comfortable as possible. 💫

The early Bird(y) gets the worm—or in this case, the feather wand toy! 🪶 Sweet Birdy and I always have the best time during our morning visits. From soaking up the warm Berkeley sunshine to chasing her favorite toys, she’s full of energy and charm. And when playtime winds down, Birdy hops onto my chest for the coziest cuddles. 🐈‍⬛️

Cleo & Socks. 🧡

These sweet girls have been in my care since early December, and watching them grow more confident each day has been so rewarding. After being surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society, it took a little time for Cleo and Socks to come out of their shells—but their personalities are truly shining now.

Socks holds a special place in my heart. I first met her in March 2022, when I began fostering her mom, Sweetie, during her pregnancy. A month later, Sweetie gave birth to four beautiful kittens, one of them being Socks. I still remember the day Socks was adopted—it was bittersweet but full of hope. Now, fate has brought her back to me, and I’m in awe of how much she reminds me of Sweetie. They share the same purr-sonality, mannerisms, and even sound like eachother! Like her mama, Socks is incredibly affectionate, curious, and always ready for an adventure.

Miss Cleo joined Socks shortly after her adoption to be her forever buddy. These two have grown up side by side, from tiny kittens to playful teens to loving adults. Cleo is the more reserved of the pair, but she’s also incredibly bold when it comes to exploring. She’s claimed the apartment as her kingdom and thrives in the cozy corners of her new space. During quieter moments, Cleo loves curling up on my chest or lounging on the cat tree with the Crew.

Speaking of the Crew—introductions to Biggie, Dottie, and Sweetie have been going wonderfully! I’m so proud of Socks and Cleo for their bravery and trust, and I love seeing them blossom in their new environment.

Sweet Dobey. 🤍

If you’ve been following me since the summer of 2022, you might remember Dobey, a loving and playful Sphynx who stole my heart.

Dobey and I shared long mornings and evenings together. He was always by my side, eager to be part of whatever I was doing. When he wasn’t shadowing me around the apartment, he’d be busy kneading biscuits everywhere, rubbing his sweet face against mine, or curling up in a perfect loaf on my lap.

Our boy was a fighter, bravely living with HCM that eventually progressed to CHF, much like what happened with Stripie. Recently, he started a new medication, but sadly, things took an unexpected turn. On Wednesday morning, I received the heartbreaking news from his mom—Dobey had passed away. At just five years old, he had so much more love to give and life to experience.

I’ve cried a lot since hearing this news, and even more while looking through my old phone for these photos of him. I’ll forever miss his little roars, his air biscuits, and his endlessly social personality. Please send his mom all of the love and comfort possible during this time.

Rest in peace, love, paradise, and everything in between, sweetest Dobey. 🤍

Attention Cat Owners, Lovers, and Enthusiasts!

On the morning of Wednesday, December 4, l'll be flying to SoCal to pick up Cleo and Socks from their foster home.

The three of us will return to Berkeley by the afternoon of Thursday, December 5. Please note that I won't be available for cat sitting during the 30 hours l"ll be out of the Bay Area.

Earlier today, I received the heartbreaking news that Stella crossed the rainbow bridge.

I cared for Stella and her brother, Stewie, this past June. She took a few visits to warm up to me, but once she did, I was graced by her sweet presence every morning and evening.

I'd often find Stella basking in the sun from the comfort of her cat tree. She'd wait for me to come over with a lick-able treat or toy, and despite being an older kitty, she was quite a great huntress. I'll miss the feeling of her fur and the soft rumble of her purrs, though I'm relieved that she is no longer suffering or in pain.

Stella, thank you for trusting me, loving me, and for being so incredibly kind while adjusting to my stay in your home. While I'm saddened that I'll no longer see you lounging near a sunny window, I will forever cherish the time we spent together. Rest in peace, love, paradise, and everything in between. 🤎
