We are not taking in any animals at the moment. Unfortunately without assistance we can no longer do this out of our own pocket. I do not get any funding whatsoever as we have done this as a family. I can’t afford any more mouths to feed, any vetting, any supplies for the babies at all. I’ve had a handful of folks over the years that donated to help us when they can. Please contact other rescues instead of me. Thank you.

Up for adoption! This beautiful boys home fell through so he is now looking for an adopter. He is about 4 1/2 months old (born around Easter 2023). He is fully vaccinated and he was just neutered 8/22/23. He has been dewormed and flea free! He’s very sweet but he is a kitten so he is rambunctious. He’s very food motivated and a bit of a food thief! He will sneak food off of your plate. He’s a very good boy and would love a family to love him. He loves other cats. He’s kind of scared of dogs but will adjust if you have a dog that doesn’t chase him. $100 adoption fee applies to cover all vetting.

Any of my rescue friends have a good reliable transport to the New Jersey area that would let a fully vaccinated, flea treated, neutered kitten hitch a ride? I have an adopter there that has adopted 2 cats from me over the last few years! Now we have her families final family member (maybe, we all know that 3rd one will probably need a new friend eventually) and the cat she has always wanted. Health Cert will be obtained when we get a ride and a date.

So we had a vet visit today! Momma is believed to have mange (treated with bravecto) several types of worms, which we treated for last night, and has scar tissue from a hematoma on her left ear but thankfully is no longer active. She will be on the road to recovery for quite some time. Puppies are all healthy and don’t have the mange but full of worms too which was treated last night as well. Puppies are estimated at 4 weeks 5 days old and all parties did have f***l exams today and a check up. Return visits at the vet will be necessary for momma dog Athena for spaying once she’s healthy enough and to begin her yearly shots including the rabies vaccine. We just want her to mend before putting her through anything else. She did have some steak tonight because look at her, she deserves some steak! She is really becoming accustomed to her new life style.

Momma dog Athena is in pretty rough shape. She will be going to the vet tomorrow! She has a hematoma on her left ear taking up about half of the ear, so I’m sure that will need drained, she had her flea bath and then a bath in an anti fungal and anti bacterial shampoo due to hair loss (flea infestation), she received her first vaccine and she has started tape worm treatment, and nemex for all other worms (safe for babies). Babies are all dewormed and about to take their first bath before bed. Momma Athena is my biggest concern however. Will update when I know more about her issues.

So we have been dealing with some sick kittens. We have lost the newborns and one of the 4 week old kittens. The newborns were unrelated to the older one but the diarrhea with them was unstoppable and we tried everything that the vet said we could do. The older one that passed and his sibling who has been hanging on and fighting hard, was diagnosed with panleukopenia! This is why vaccinations are important for your cats! Do not think that your adult cat is fine without vaccines and especially if they aren’t spayed or neutered (which all should be) because they pass these things on to others and their babies. Please be a responsible pet owner!

We could really use some donations of cat food, canned and bagged both. We need kitten and now adult as I’m taking in a nursing momma with what appears to be 4 newborn kittens. We already have 4 kittens that we are taking care of. I unfortunately could not turn away these new ones as I was told if I didn’t take them, they would all be killed. Donations are very much needed right now. Anything helps! Pictures to come when the new ones arrive later today. We can’t do this without everyone’s continued support. Update: pending adoption!!!
Hansel and Gretal are still up for adoption. They are a bonded pair and must go together (2 kittens are always better than one). They are a brother and sister that’s about 4 months old. They have been spayed and neutered and up to date on shots except rabies because their weight was to low at time of surgery. No adoption fee for the pair with approved application. They are dog and cat friendly but do not recommend for small children as they are still learning about people. Both will allow us to hold them and pet them for short periods of time but do not mind petting while not in your arms. They have came a long way from completely feral. They no longer run away when you come close to them. As long as you continue to give them attention and have a cat tower and food, they will be great. Located in Owingsville Kentucky.

I know I know, I said I wasn’t taking in anymore but here we are. I couldn’t turn this poor dilute torti girl away. She’s so skinny! We need donations please. She will be with us for a while so we can get her healthy and ready for adoption. We could really use kitten wet and dry food and litter. Please help us help this baby. She was covered in fleas and had to have a dawn bath immediately after getting some food in her. She emptied her bowl of wet food so fast. Please consider helping this little girl.

Update: She has decided that this is her forever home. She is no longer up for adoption.

Meet Miss Ruby! She is a 1 year old red bone c**n hound and is looking for her forever home. Must have at least one other dog as she’s sad without someone to play with and prefer at least one child (prefer 10 and up as she does jump up to hug). She is spayed, dewormed, utd on all shots, flea treated (she was literally covered in fleas when we got her, even crawling on the outside of her fur), and she tested negative for Lyme disease. She’s the sweetest girl and has had a rough start in life being dumped by her original owners. She loves cuddles, and treats, and she’s cat and dog friendly. She just wants to play! She’s high energy and needs a fenced in yard but an indoor only home. She gets so excited to meet new people and new animals. Kids make her so happy and she will make any kid happy as well. She absolutely loves balls! She kicks them around and seems to be trying to play soccer 😂. There is a $200 adoption fee to cover all vetting. She is mostly house trained as long as she has access to get outside. She’s not a big fan of car rides but she’s doing much better with them so a little more practice and she will be okay. We got her when she was absolutely terrified of humans and animals. She would hide in a corner away from everyone except my 16 year old son who she immediately loved. She’s a whole new girl and ready to start her life with the family she was always meant to be with. Located in Owingsville Kentucky.

Hansel and Gretel are about 14 weeks old. Both spayed and neutered, dewormed and flea treated, combo tested negative and up to date on shots (last one will be given in a week) except rabies because they didn’t weigh enough at time of surgery. Gretel is smaller than Hansel. Both were terrified of humans and are still adjusting to dogs as they spent the first 9 weeks of their lives outdoors around no people or dogs. They are looking for their forever homes. Prefer that they go together as they are bonded but willing to separate if we must. They do everything together and are always cuddled up together. They are best friends and siblings. Please consider adopting the pair. They have came a long way from the feral little kittens they were when I picked them up but will still take a little time to adjust to a new home. Gretel does have an allergy to something in my home (possibly dogs) and has one runny eye sometimes. We have treated with neomycin and it does get better for a while. Will be starting her on l lysine for allergies and would advise that to continue. Located in Owingsville Kentucky. These babies have a $25 adoption fee each.

Echo is still up for adoption. She is spayed, utd on shots and flea treatment/dewormer, and combo tested negative. She is ready to find her forever home. She is a beautiful calico girl and so sweet. She was found injured missing part of an ear and her mouth was messed up as well. Although she is healed her mouth is still a little off but it doesn’t affect her in any way other than her looking a little surprised all of the time. She’s been raised up with kids, dogs, and cats and has no issues with either. She’s around 5-6 months old now. Adoption fees are $25 until January 1st. We just want to get her in her own home before 2022. Located in Owingsville Kentucky!

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the decision I have made to close my doors. We can no longer continue helping animals paying for 95% of everything out of our own pockets and not being able to find homes for the rescued animals. Rescuing animals has been an amazing journey and I have loved it so much and loved each and every one that’s came through our doors. We will still be trying to find homes for the rescues we have in our possession and will not be taking in any new rescues. Thank you to all who have donated to us and adopted from us, know we are so appreciative of your help.

Working on our newest rescue dogs car riding experiences. She’s been absolutely terrified of car rides so we are showing her that car rides can be fun. Miss Ruby is about a year old and she’s a redbone c**nhound. She’s the sweetest girl and absolutely loves cats! Her best friend is the neighborhood stray cat that pretty much stays at our house. She’s great with other dogs as well except when it comes to her food. She’s a bit protective of her food but not terrible. She’s so friendly and almost completely house trained! When she gets adopted, she definitely needs children! She is so happy to have kids.

Welcome Ruby to our rescue. She is a redbone c**n hound mix and still very young. She was dumped on people who didn’t want her either and was going to dump her as well. She’s super sweet but so afraid so she will be here for a while to learn what it’s like to be part of the family before she goes to her forever family. She absolutely loves kids and so far her best friend is a stray cat that hangs out here and we take care of. She was so flea covered that they were even crawling on top of her hair. There was black spots all over her. A good dawn bath took care of all of those and she has been dewormed and flea treated. She’s still terrified of our dogs but we keep introducing them for small periods of time so she isn’t rushed. Something tells me she is going to be the best by the time she leaves us. Sweet Annie is still up for adoption. She’s a great mouser and she is cuddly when she wants to be. She does like to do her own thing most of the time. She is an inside only cat. She’s 6 months old but small for her age. She’s healthy, spayed, utd on shots, dewormed, and flea treated. She combo tested negative as well. She’s fine with cats and dogs and has been raised with children aged 11-16. She’s also been around a toddler and has done great with her. This sweet girl is Echo. She is about 4 months old, fully vetted and combo tested negative. Although she has had a rough start in life she’s such a loving girl. She was found on the side of the road with part of her ear missing (she was not spayed at the time) and a busted up mouth. Due to her mouth injuries she kind of looks surprised all of the time now. I like to think that her personality is great that at the cat factory she was pieced together with left over parts to make her uniqueness shine. She has orange tabby areas, grey tabby areas, spots, stripes, and calico colors. She’s great with dogs and cats and children. This is Melissa. She is a black smoke Maine c**n kitten. She’s about 4 months old. She started out solid black but the smoke is now coming through. She is going to be an absolutely beautiful girl. She’s very sweet and enjoys cuddles and as a bonus she is a great mouser! She’s great with dogs of all sizes, other cats, and kids. She would be an excellent addition to any family. These babies are still up for adoption. If they can’t get adopted, I can’t take in and help more. Echo was found on the side of the road with a cut ear and disfigured mouth. She has healed and is fully vetted. Annie was found at 3-4 weeks old and is now 6 months old but small for her age. She is fully vetted as well. Elsa was an owner surrender after their baby showed signs of allergic reactions to her and was tested and is allergic to cats. She’s very sweet and playful as are all of the kittens. She also is fully vetted. They are all the best babies and are currently waiting for their forever families to adopt them.
