When they look good and smaell good they start feeling good!
Ember enjoyed her 1st full service groom today! And she couldn't have made her momma more proud (as she got used to the process super fast once she understood nothing scary was going to happen to her)
Full bath with oatmeal shampoo and deep conditioner, pre & post brush out, dematt, nails, teeth, ears, and fresh blowout.
***not pictured is Ember's roomie Hera. Another good gir with lots of love to give***

Clean pups are happy pups!
When our 4 legged friends go awhile without a bath dirt, debris, allergens, penetratetheir coat and work their way to the skin causing irritation, infections, and general discomfort!
A good bathing schedule varies on the breed, coat type, lifestyle, and pre-existing skin issues.
And ofcourse it's always fun to experience the "post bath zoomie" run arounds!

Todays topic: Outline trims!
Can also be referred to as "full body contour", this haircut follows the natural shape of your dog's outline. When blended between cuts the coat appears seamless. A fun and very pretty haircut for shelties, golden retrievers, aussies, and any other breed who's coat is dropped.
Outline trims need to be maintained often due to the limited length taken off, so be prepared to visit your groomer every month to maintain the clean appearance!
