Exciting news!!

EL-AL has two litters coming up -- EL-AL and NightRain's Goddess of Thunder "Ahsoka" (a Raikou daughter) has been bred to GCh SnowShoe's Sleigh Boy "Calvin" and Ch White Sapphire's Electric Blu by El-Al "Navi" (a Raikou daughter) has been bred to Multi BIS Ch Northwind's Robin Hood. ("Robin") Puppies from both litters due in late January/ Early February. Pedigrees coming soon.

Entei won the Owner Handled group at the Central Florida Working Group Specialty in Tampa in June making this a HAT TRICK for EL-AL!

Raikou -- GCHG EL-AL's Lord of Thunder, CGC, TKA, ATT won the coveted purple chair in 2017

Maggie May -- GCh EL-AL's Magic In The Moonlight won it in 2019 and now their offspring:

GChB EL-AL's I Am The Fire won OHBISS in 2023! He also acquired enough points to be a Bronze Grand Champion. He has achieved the Silver Achievement level for NOHS and is currently ranked in the TOP20 All Breed for Samoyeds!

Good 3 day weekend in Hattiesburg for this fun boy. Owner Handled Group 1, 2, and 4 and an OH Reserve Best In Show. Group winning, MBOSS, GCH EL-AL's I Am The Fire "Entei" currently ranked #1 Owner Handled male Samoyed in the 2023 Owner Handled Series.

UPDATE: I just realized that this fluffy puppy is also a new BRONZE GRAND CHAMPION! and is ranked in the Top 20! Way to go fluffy boy!

April shows were great for EL-AL dogs. Entei (GCH EL-AL's I Am The Fire) and I went to Columbiana AL where Tei took Best of Breed all 4 days for 4 more Grand Champion majors, two group wins in OH Working Group and 2 placements in OH Working Group - he is now the #1 Samoyed in the Owner Handled Series for 2023. Then we were off to Perry, GA where Tei won Best of Breed and a Working Group 4, Select Dog two other show days and won Best of Opposite S*x at both specialties and racked up 5 more grand champion majors. The Sunday specialty, our Raikou grand daughter (BareWhite's Rouseys In The Ring), Rousey won the specialty for her second Specialty BISS, she also won Breed one day and went on to win a Working Group 4.
Little Navi, a Raikou daughter, (Ch. White Sapphire's Electric Blu by EL-AL) took the points at the Friday Specialty to finish her Championship title. Her first day out as a Special on Saturday and she brought home Select Bitch for her first Grand Champion major. She then won an Award of Merit at the Sunday Specialty. So proud of these young dogs and all they are doing in the ring.

Brooksville Circuit is in the books! We had a VERY good two weeks with EL-AL pups in the winner's line up every day.

WhiteSaphire's Electric Blu by EL-AL "Navi" (Raikou x Sara Blu) At only her second set of shows, and at only 16 months took Best of Breed and madethe cut in a very competitive Working Group on her first day of the circuit for her first major. She was Best In Sweepstakes at the CFSF Specialty, and took Best of Winners 4 days of the first week to grab all but her last major toward her championship. Second week was light on points with no majors so she did not show. Very proud of this baby girl who has taken to the ring like a little rock star!

New Grand Ch. EL-AL's I Am The Fire "Entei" (Raikou x Maggie May) was in the ribbons every day of the two circuits - beating out some lovely and much more mature boys for 3 Best of Opposite S*x, including BOSS at the CFSF Specialty and 6 Select Dog awards - earning his Grand Championship during the first week of showing. He is well on his way toward his Bronze Grand Championship. Excellent circuit for this young 18 month old boy with only a few weekends under his belt.

GCh. BareWhite's I Wanna Kiss The Bunnies "Bunny" (a Raikou granddaughter -- Deja x Sherman) bred and owned by Karla Barefoot showed well and brought home a Best of Opposite and three Select Bitch placements.

GCh. BareWhite's Rousey's In The Ring "Rousey" (a Raikou granddaughter -- Deja x Sherman) bred and owned by Karl Barefoot had an incredible week with 4 Select placements, 3 Best of Opposite and one VERY BIG BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW at the CFSF Specialty. She earned her OH Platinum ranking at the second show of the series with an OH Group 2, and also was awarded an OH Group 3 and OH Group 4 in the first cluster.

And of course, great news up north in Atlanta: Ella (Raikou x Misty Lou) owned by the Bundy's and her terrific winning runs in Agility and her first Agility title!! And not to be outdone the amazing Gemma (Zeppelin x Maggie May) owned by Velvet Simmons earning her first leg with a first place win toward yet ANOTHER title, this time in Open Jumpers! Great Work teams!

To say I am a proud breeder is an understatement.

Tampa shows last week were very good for us: Oz (EL-AL's Fabulous Magic Man -- Maggie May x Arty) was winners dog and best of winners Thursday for another point.

Navi (Raikou x Sara Blue) was Best of Winners Sat and Sunday for 4 points and Best Puppy.

Ranger (Ch. WSS Begin the Buigine -- Raikou x Sara Blu) was Winners Dog for 2 points on Wednesday and another new Champion for Raikou! He also picked up a Select Dog on Thursday.

Celia (GCh. EL-AL's The Best By Far is You -- Maggie May x Zeppelin) totally naked for the summer still showed off her long legs and picked up two Selects in a nice ring of Specials girls for 8 more points toward Bronze.

Rousy and Bunny (GCh. BareWhite's Rousy's in the Ring and GCh. BareWhite's I Want to Kiss the Bunnies - both Raikou granddaughters) Had a great showing with Rousy taking OS on Thursday, Select Bitch on Friday, and Best of Breed, OH Group 1 and Reserve BIS OH on Friday!

And baby champion Entei (Ch. EL-AL's I Am The Fire -- Raikou x Maggie May) celebrated turning 1 year old on Friday by making the most of the 3 days he was entered. Best In Sweeps at the Working Group Specialty and grabbing Select on Wednesday for 2 grand points, Best of Breed on Thursday for 5 grand points and another Select on Friday for 5 grand points in an outstanding ring of big mature (well behaved) male specials. Three shows his first weekend out as a special and halfway to Grand! Love this silly boy.

Thursday was an especially sweet day - EL-AL pedigree took all the ribbons! Entei (Rai x Maggie May) Breed, Oz (Maggie May son) BW, Rousy (Raikou Granddaughter) Opposite S*x, Ranger (Raikou son) Select Dog and Bunny (Raikou granddaughter) Select Bitch. To say I am proud is in understatement. Could not have done it without a bunch of support and lots of help juggling dogs.

Amber Lee, Alexander Lee, Leslie Kovacs, Lily Monet Kovacs, Mary Lynn Jensen, Drea Dunkle, Laura Coomes - you all were great! Many thanks to fabulous Judges Michael Forte, Catherine Bell, Judy McVeigh, Debra Thornton and William Stebbins (who said never hesitate to bring my naked girl into his ring!)

Fabulous weekend at the Pensacola Dog Fanciers Shows. Introducing new 8 month old Champion EL-AL'S I Am The Fire "Entei" (Raikou x Maggie May). And taking the ring by storm GCh EL-AL'S The Best By Far Is You "Cecilia" (Zeppelin x Maggie May) Working Group 1, Working Group 2 and Owner Handled Working Group 2. GREAT DAY in PENSACOLA!! Entei (Ch. EL-AL'S I AM THE FIRE -- Raikou x Maggie May) is a new Champion!!! And big sister Cecilia (GCH. EL-AL'S The Best By Far Is You -- Zeppelin x Maggie May) took BOB and a Big FAT Working Group 1 !!!! So proud of my pups!! Big thanks to our many friends who stayed to cheer us on in Working Group and BIS rings! We couldn't have done it without all your support.. As many of you know, I bred my Grand Champion Tia (given to me by my mother, Elsie,) to Jeanne Nonhoff's BISS BIS Grand Champion, Brett. Mom was to get the pick bitch, Maggie May, but Mags "claimed" my husband Ken when she was just 4 weeks old and it was a bond that could not be broken. She was his girl. When Maggie became a grand champion, I bred her to Diane Garcia's Grand Champion and multiple Top Winning Stud dog, Zeppelin. This was a culmination of much thought and research and and brought together three iconic historical lines, EL-AL (50+ years) Moonlighter (60 years) and Arctic Fox (26 years) -- all breeders with strict ethical and moral conviction to the breed we so love. Breeders I respect for their commitment to producing healthy, well tempered beautiful dogs. From that breeding I gave mom "Cecilia" (All puppies needed to have names related to rock music - after all Maggie May was being bred to Zeppelin! ) Mom and I came up with the song, Cecilia and the Satellite by Andrew McMahon and her name is in the lyrics "of all the things my eyes have seen, The Best By Far is You" When Mom left us in 2019 to go to my Dad, Cecilia (GCH EL-AL's The Best By Far Is You) came back to live with me -- even in this covid year - Celia has not disappointed. Earning her championship and then making quick work of her Grand title . I think Mom would be proud. And I think mom's satellite is up there watching her girl do amazing things. (The night Celia finished her Grand, I saw a shooting star - thanks Mom for the encouragement) Multiple Best of Breed over specials - the sky is the limit for this beautiful girl who flies around the ring. I am just sorry Mom is not here to celebrate with us. (many thanks to all of my wonderful friends and support system who were there to help, cheer us on and watch over Celia when I had to leave her for her final Ocala days)

fingers crossed for this afternoon - Best of Breed the last two days - she now needs one point today to grab her Grand! She has taken 6 Best of Breed placements, 2 Best of Opposite placements and one Select Bitch in the last 11 shows to gather 24 points and 4 majors toward her Grand. I am not there and am on pins and needles waiting to hear how she does at today's show... So proud of this baby girl! UPDATE -- she did it!! Our new Grand Champion!!
