A testimony to early desensitization exercises! When my puppies ears first start to open, I start playing soundtracks for them. Fireworks is one of them. I also kept toys that would flash bright lights in their den. We continued these exercises for Lumi after the other pups left for their forever homes. Lumi will now happily sit outside with me while fireworks pop up and down the river!

Maisie definitely remembers her puppyhood home. Her new parents were in the neighborhood and she ran straight to our home, let herself in, and made herself right at home! Silly munchkin! Suvi and Lumi were so happy to see her.
