As we get closer and closer to Thanksgiving, it's important to remember that not all festive foods are safe for pets!

Unseasoned turkey meat, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin are all safe (in small quantities) for pets while bones, sweets, and fatty foods should be avoided!

Keep Fido warm this winter! Many breeds have thicker coats and are able to easily stay warm in the colder months but many do not. If your pet has a thinner coat or is a smaller breed, it's important to pay attention to their temperature and keep them warm.

Pet skin, specifically dog and cat skin, is drastically different than human skin. Not only is pet skin also covered in hair, but their skin has very different needs than ours!

Because of this, it is crucial that pet shampoo is used on pets! Human shampoos can strip necessary oils from pet skin and make them dry, itchy, and more prone to infection.

Be sure you are using pet shampoo whenever bathing your pets!
