If you are looking for a local place to take your dog for a walk I would highly recommend Massasoit State Park. Massasoit State Park
I use the same trail every time but Millie loves it and she gets to take a dip into Lake Rico which is her favorite part!

6 years ago right before Thanksgiving we brought home miss Millie! She was the sweetest little ball of mush that we all passed around while eating our turkey :) Can't believe how fast time flies!!

The type of training collar you use can be controversial, I would make sure you work with a professional dog trainer to get an opinion on what to use. If your dog is super strong and full of energy you may benefit from one of the stronger options until they learn more self control.

I struggle with this all the time with Millie. She would rather sniff a plant for 20 minutes then go for a walk.... so I just let her outside to sniff and I keep working! haha
