Today at the vet getting their Florida Health Certificates. These young ladies always get excited when Sandy Paws English Springer Spaniel visits them! Our vet is Dr. Johns at Sarasota Veterinary Center on Cattlemen Road near Bee Ridge Rd. Highly recommend them!

Here is Kuzo sleeping this morning. They were up and out by 6:30 am with the girls, Gretchen, Milly, and Bella. Breakfast was served on the lawn. After 30 minutes of playtime they went in for their next nap. Mid-morning brunch was served in their playpen and they all had lots of water to drink. Playtime fell into 😴

Pups had a great night last night. All ‘business’ was on the pads! Watered and fed them, took them out with Gretchen, Milly, and Bella. The girls were fantastic being moms watching over the pups, playing with them, and making sure they had control of them. Kudos to Milly and Bella!

Now is sleepy time.

You know this map image. Thousands of you have bought Lili Chin's map because it is, well, just wonderful.

Lili is a fabulous artist who has always been generous in allowing us to share her occasional image, and now we'd like to return the favor by asking you to help us help her.

Lili is writing and illustrating a book of her fabulous dog breed art. She is including short nicknames and acronyms for as many breeds as she knows the nicknames for (eg, Lab, Yorkie, Beardie, Newfie, PON, GSP, etc), but she is sure there are tons more.

And she's right.

Lili has asked us to ask you - the dog experts - to share your breed's nicknames. There is a DEADLINE. Her manuscript is due in 1.5 weeks and we all know about deadlines.

PLEASE list your breed below and its nickname. Lili is following along so she will see. We will be posting this a few more times to catch anyone who misses this "ask."
