We had a fantastic weekend at the seminar held by hosted by . Venom and I got to spend a lot of time working on being neutral around strangers, walking through crowds and even started working on article indications! I learned so much and had a really great time with some absolutely fantastic people. Venom was a rockstar!

My beautiful girl, if she does something, she really does it! She split a dew claw in half along the length of it exposing the quick. Our awesome vet got it taken care of and now the bandage is just to keep it clean. That’s my girl!

Announcement! My Strider boy is not my boy anymore. He has been sold to and will be paired with a handler and become a police K9! This has been in the works for a while and I am SO proud of him. I’m super thankful for for helping this come to fruition. A lot of work has been put into him and we’ve all gotten tagged by him😂 but to know that he is going to be working the streets and doing what he loves to do makes my heart happy. There has been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears put into this dog, and I’d say it’s all worth it. If you want to follow Strider’s journey, you can see him in stories!

WELCOME THESE PUPS TO THE PACK! Aslan is an 8 week old GSD, and Venom is a 12 week old mal. I will be raising them until they are six months old for my friends 😊 Of course as soon as they came home they had to get decked out in gear! Aslan is wearing the green puppy collar and Venom is wearing the blue set gifted to me by and 💖Raising two puppies at once is a new challenge for me!

Eowyn training with at working on making that focused heel pretty! They do board and trains and day training here, as well as training working dogs in scentwork, bitework, tracking, sport obedience, etc. We have been enjoying our weekends working and learning here! I highly recommend Next Level Kennels💖

I’ve been doing a lot of training with Strider but I’m also getting miss Eowyn out too. Last week we got to train with and to do some tracking and BH training. I’ve also been working on more tricks just to add some fun into our training. This girl is everything to me. 💖

Perhaps it’s time to get back to Eowyn and I are working on the flip turn, strengthening exercises for her front legs, and doing tricks for fun. The last couple weeks we started working on tricks again and it has been so much fun for both of us! Strider is working on not being an asshole😂 he’s a great dog 98% of the time. We have some big things planned and some things in the works for this week, stay tuned! What are you going to work on this week? Let me know in the comments!

Eowyn loving her Moki ball! She works so hard for her ball, ball is LIFE. We are loving the cooler temps that have come in, so refreshing and so nice to not have to worry so much about heat injury.

Tried to make a little video of Eowyn’s article search today. Thinking when Strider gets his next harness from we will need to get the GoPro mount one! We do article searches purely for fun, and I’ve worked on using smaller and smaller articles. Eowyn found the keys, then the rope, then the all metal keychain and finally the small piece of leather. She loves using her nose! Strider isn’t doing this yet, and won’t be searching a big open field until he has a bombproof recall. What do you do with your dog purely for fun?

My father gave me his leatherworking tools several years ago. Since he passed, I got them out and started using them because it makes me feel closer to him. Today I finished this collar for Eowyn. Made with burgundy Latigo leather from and hardware from .
