Deshedding is removing the loose dead fur trapped in the coat. I remove this in the most gentle way possible while bathing and usually without rakes and blades that can be harsh on your pups skin. A clean coat will release the dead fur, a dirty coat will keep it trapped. Not removing the dead coat can possibly cause skin issues in the future due to the hair trapping moisture near the skin.

Hi 👋🏼 I’m Hayden Bryant, owner of Saving Grace Pawsmetology 🐾. I am a single mother of 3 beautiful and busy girls, and I have 16 years’ experience in dog grooming 🐩. My grooming motto will always be quality over quantity, and I believe Mobile Grooming can really bring that to life for me. I take pride in my work and will always choose what is best/safest for the pets I care for. I believe in continuing education and strive to learn the newest research in the field. I have in the past taken courses and received certifications in 1. AKC S.A.F.E Grooming Program 2. Pet Safety and CPR and my newest certification to work towards is Certified Pet Aesthetician. I have completed all the course work and learned all the information and am now waiting to schedule my testing date. I have also taken many hours of non-certificate classes and courses over my career. Since starting this business, I have had a few trials and health complications that have hindered my ability to move as quickly and efficiently as I would have liked, and most recently my unit has been out of commission. I have updated a few things for my business and unit moving forward that will help with the past issues, such as booking can now be done completely online, as I do still groom full time locally to provide for my family. Most importantly I have learned to listen to my body and take the minor things more seriously for my own personal health, my family, and lastly for the ability to take care of the pets I so very deeply enjoy touching the lives of. I appreciate all of the customers I have been able to serve and hope to serve you again in the near future, as well as I look forward to all of the new customers, I will hopefully be able to serve and meet.
