Rabbits can be fussy about food and litter. So, I also approach using something new cautiously. The litter looks and feels “good” in that it feels comfortable to my touch (not sharp and “pokey”), smells good, and is dust free. Dusty bedding materials can increase the chance of rabbits developing respiratory problems. So, this is important to me. To introduce our rabbit to different bedding, I placed it on top of his usual bedding material in a “test” litter box in an open second cage that he is free to go in and out of to play with objects in there. Our rabbit hopped on this new bedding without hesitation.

Note: 25L liters is a big bag. So, while the single unit price is more than I usually pay for bedding, this h**p bedding is denser and, I think, provides more bedding by volume than what we usually use as bedding.
