Unfortunately the efforts to rehome Paulie to a house without other pets was unsuccessful and he is now at a no-kill shelter in Reisterstown, MD. Please spread the word. I can attest that he is an awesome dog! He's large and cuddly. He is anxious but sweet. The shelter is putting him on anxiety meds and doing some training. He loves going on walks and is really well behaved on the leash. I miss him terribly, but most of all would love to see him in a new loving home: https://bmorehumane.org/pets/paulie/

Charley needs a new home! Please contact me if you're interested in taking him in, or please share this if you aren't. He is an indoor-only cat who currently resides in Severn, MD. He is a delight to cat sit for. Unfortunately another male cat in the home bullies him, causing Charley to be shy and stressed. He lives with a couple but will only interact with the woman, so a female owner for his next home would be best. From my records, he was born in April 2019, is microchipped and neutered. He is not aggressive and is not on any medication.

Not all animal lovers are equal. For example, Ophidiophobia, more commonly known as a fear of snakes, is a real and common condition. The friend, neighbor or family member who normally cares for your pets you are away may have it, and yes, even some professional pet sitter have it as well. Cat and dog owners will be quick to tell you that their pets are truly members of their family. Well, exotic pet owners, like us, feel the same way about their pets. When you travel, you need to find a pet sitter who is capable of caring for all of your pets; someone who will give you the peace of mind to be away from those beloved family members. We may specialize in exotic pets, however we also love and care for cats and dogs as well.

By using our many years of expertise, both personally and professionally, and by specializing in exotic pet care, we are providing a niche that is missing in Central Maryland. Exotic Pet Pals offers pet sitting services to care for clients' pets and their home in their absence. We also offer wellness services for these pets such as nail trims, medication administration, and pet bird seed-to-pellet conversion.

The owner of Exotic Pet Pals has close to 3 decades of experience working with animals, and has spent much of her life learning about a variety of animal species. She respects animals no matter how big or small, and will love your pets just like members of her own family. On top of that, she also is a NAPPS Certified professional pet sitter and will continue to earn CEU credits to keep and renew her certification, staying on top of all the current trends in the pet industry and in regards to pet health.
