Mother's Love For Your Pet

Dearest Clients and friends,

First, I want to thank you with all of my heart for being my loyal and wonderful client for the years you have been with me. Many of you have become my dear friends, and I cherish each and every one of you over these many years since opening the business in 1994. It has been such a rich experience in so many ways, and you have all added so much to my life.

But now, I want to let you know that I will no longer be running the pet sitting, house sitting or dog walking part of Mother's Love for Your Pet, but am asking my two helpers, Nancy and Clare, to continue servicing you on their own. A lot has happened during and since Covid, including the devastating loss of my husband, Jon, in 2020, and I've realized it's time to retire from these aspects of the business. I hope those of you who are my dear friends (including your pets) will remain my friends and family! (I may do some boarding in the future, and will still be licensed as Mother's Love for Your Pet in case I decide to do that.) But as of July 16th, my managing of the jobs you need from Clare or Nancy will end and you will need to contact them for service, directly. I want to make this as easy a transition for you and them as possible, which is why I hope you will feel comfortable continuing hiring Nancy and Clare as your pet sitters. This will mean you will no longer need to contact me to request pet sitting or pay me for their work. You will need to contact, hire them for each job, and pay them directly for any work you need from the designated date above. I will also indicate this on my website, and will update the information.

I will miss you all so much. And, I want to assure you that my health is great, I'm doing really well and continuing my music joyfully!

Dear Clients, because of the cost of gas and other costs to my pet sitters, I'll be raising my drop-in visit fee for the first time in years! to $30 per half hour visit. House sitting is $75 per night. We're not doing boarding at this time. Much love to you all, and thanks for your continued support and love for your precious animals!

RIP and love, Ksenia, Mary Vail's baby who passed away yesterday. We are so sorry, Mary, for your heartbreak. I'm glad you still have Kristin to keep you company, and I know Ksenia is still hanging out with you.
