Meet our new friend.. Murphy!!💙 Isn’t he sooo handsome??!! We had a great weekend together while his family was away🐾
Murphy has so much energy that from the second he saw me to the second I left, the zoomies never ended!!
He enjoys running around the back yard, chewing on his toys, getting treats, the snow, and of course lots of pets!

Does anyone feed this? I accidentally bought the 34 pound bag today thinking it was standard and not large breed 🙃. I opened it and realized it didn’t look the same, so i can’t bring it back!🥲 We can’t afford any more tummy issues in this house, so i’m not chancing it😂

I’ve been reminded recently how important it is to advocate for our pets. I will specifically be talking about dogs in this post just because of my recent experiences, but ALL pets need an advocate.

As pet owners, lovers, and caregivers, we have a responsibility to be the voice for our dogs. They depend on us to protect their health, well-being, and safety, especially when they can’t speak for themselves. Whether it’s pushing for answers when something feels off, standing up for their safety on a walk, or making sure their needs aren’t overlooked, it’s up to us to take action.

Never let anyone dismiss your concerns or your dog’s needs. If something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts and keep speaking up. Our pets cannot advocate for themselves. They rely on us to step in, to be persistent, and to ensure their voices are heard.

it’s not just the dogs in our homes who need an advocate. There are countless animals—those in abusive environments/neglectful households, shelters, on the streets, in foster care, in mills, at the pet store etc.—who also rely on us to speak up for them. They deserve the same love, protection, and attention as any family pet. Just because things look fine on the surface doesn’t always mean everything is as it should be.

Remember, we are their voice, their protectors, and their advocates. It’s not just a responsibility, it’s a privilege.
