Just a small announcement that I’m sorry if I don’t respond, have my website UTD or do things right away lately! I’m currently in a pre-veterinary program, shadowing a vet, working as a vet surgical assistant, and taking care of my dogs with the babies and human baby at home. It’s taking up a lot of my time with very little to spare! I will always respond, but may take some time and please don’t get mad if I don’t! I do not mind some friendly reminders as I’m juggling a lot in my head! 🥰 love all my followers and families ❤️

We have some cute leprechaun babies! 6 healthy babies and momma is doing well. Unfortunately, we had to go in for a C-section because labor was stalled. Super happy I did because 4 placentas were detached “hint hint the green”. Listen to your guts! Very thankful for the amazing Dr. who not only mentors me, but came to the rescue as soon as he can. Truly blessed to be able to help during the c-sections and have amazing people to help 🥰

Happy 4th! Here are some tips and tricks if your pups are scared this year. 1. Don’t coddle(biggest takeaway) once you coddle they lock on to the feeling of comfort from you than getting over their fears which will make them even more nervous each time. 2. Give them a REALLY good treat or toy they absolutely love and only get during time of nervousness. I actually had one fake being scared with random things for more treats one time🤪🤣 this will flip a switch in their mind from being scared everytime to “oh I get that really good treat” and therefore be excited instead. 3. Desensitize ahead of time. Play on YouTube while they are eating, playing or in their crate all night. Remember the younger you start the easier it will be to desensitize! 4. Most importantly, stay safe. Be smart with how loud it gets if you’re doing fireworks yourself or attending. Even some of the best trained dogs for hunt who hear guns all day long can sometimes still get scared and run away. If your dog has never been exposed, keep them in a safe place they can’t run away. -for the video below, we’ve been hearing these crazy loud noises everyday for loud noise exposure and they just sleep through it now❤️
