Had to make a special track for dad tonight! Had to get someone to cover being on call at work for a few hours for me but it was a rather easy track job for hank compared to what has been thrown at him this year so far!

Good luck to the orange army tomorrow! We will not be available to track any deer until the 24th. I am on call for work so I won’t be able to commit to a track until then. Goodluck and shoot straight!

Hanks birthday find! 1/2 today and calling it a night so I can get back out in the woods tomorrow. This one was definitely earned hank made a few wrong turns but after a reset lined it out to this guys buck! Basic liver hit not much blood along the trail.

1-2 today. It was good to see a deer at the end of the track this morning and break the living deer curse we had put on us for a week! Hunters did everything right gave it plenty of time. It had been dead for a while probably could have went in lastnight but to be safe with the rut and all the adrenaline in these bucks time is your friend if you think you don’t have the best shot!

Hanks getting 2 cheeseburgers tonight for getting me home before dark! Was grid searched he pretty much ignored where they had walked and took us right to the deer. 5-16 now!

Recovery percentage isn’t always going to look good if it isn’t dead we don’t count it. If we jump it it is still a non recovery that goes against the percentage even though the dog did his job and got us to the deer.

4-13 now. This Hunter knew he hit it far back so backed out and got us scheduled for this morning. It was a gut shot and clipped the liver. Died in its first bed no blood on the trail.

Hanks back on the board he made quick work lastnight about a 500 yard track for him. Glad there was an end to the trail this time!

Goodluck to all the youth hunters this weekend in Indiana! We will be at red river gorge Saturday and coming back home on Sunday so if you need one tracked Sunday is the earliest we can make it this weekend! Just give me a call and I’ll get hank out there!

For anyone that was interested in hats, shirts, or sweatshirts I think we are going to try and figure out how to organize it and get an order in if there is still interest in them! Hoodies last order were $30, t shirts were $20 hats depends on how many is ordered what kind of discount I can get on them if there are more than 6 hats ordered it will be around $28. If we have to ship it we can figure that part out if your local we can make plans and meetup!

Have to find new ways to burn off hanks energy in the off season. Had a good first year of tracking somewhere around the numbers of 13/27 for recoveries. all but 2-3 that weren’t recovered were confirmed alive or we caught up to it and it was going to live.

We have been tracking a lot of living deer was nice to have a dead one at the end of the trail again! We tracked a deer 3.5-4 miles last week and caught up to it grouped back up with other doe already and moving fine with a leg wound.

Hanks first find of the day! Nothing better than finding deer when the blood trail is nonexistent because of the snow.

Hank went 1/2 today. First one was a 36 hour old track we found for him hank made quick work. The second was a day old track he could not lock on to the track don’t know if he just lost interest in it or the scent just wasn’t there for him.

Hank went 2/3 for putting them in tailgates today. The first one we jumped it was still alive but we were told they found it dead in a neighbors pond where we saw it running too after we jumped it. He made some quick work of the last two tracks today.
