Please be careful who you hire to train your aggressive or reactive dog. Too many people are presenting them selves as behavior modification specialist after only dealing with a hyper dog that pulls on a leash.
Ask questions-
•What type of training are you going to use to train my dog?
•what do you see? Fear, reactivity, aggression
• Do you mind if I see you handle my dog for a couple of mins ? ( to show they are not scared or have an idea of what they are doing )
Vice versa as a client remember you get what you pay for. If you are looking for cheap expect cheap results. You are paying the individual dog trainer not just for their time but for the skills they have acquired over the years.
