“Welcome Home, Buddy!” - It’s one of the first things most of us will say when we bring home a new pet. Taking responsibility for a pet is a life milestone that is exciting, overwhelming, often confusing and incredibly rewarding. Here at WHB, we are committed to helping pets and their guardians have the best path possible, both before and after crossing that front door threshold.

- Quality Products: We offer a handpicked collection of pet products filled with trusted brands you know and love as well as artisan and handmade products. We hope to help you find what is right for your family. Many of them have been rigorously tested by our own animals.

- Shelter Connection: We aim to help shelters and rescues across the country be connected with the resources that they need in the simplest way possible. Our shelter registry allows 501(c)3 nonprofits the ability to reach out to the community and ask for specific products they need as well as monetary donations to help better serve their animals who are waiting to be welcomed home.

- Celebrate Lasting Pet Ownership: Bringing any animal home is a commitment for the life of the animal. It’s also an incredibly exciting life event and we want to help you treat it as such! Whether it be through a registry to share with your friends and family or your everyday needs, we are proud to offer products, resources and information to help every animal get the forever home they deserve.

Sweater weather? It feels early to us too! But we're almost there! Don't forget, it's sweater weather for our Buddies too! Make sure they're ready. Many new fall additions are jumping to the store this week (more on that later!) For now, our little buddy is modeling a medium sized Fashion pet harness coat. No more pulling a harness through a coat or fitting a harness over a coat! It's two in one and adorable!

Today, one of our Welcome Home Buddies pups got stung by a bee! Poor girl was not happy, but she's resting and feeling much better! Her helped her relax and she's on the mend. How can you help your buddies if they run into an angry bee or wasp? Just like people, pets can have allergic reactions to stings. Make sure you watch your buddy's breathing and heart rate. Also check for swelling in the area. If possible, quickly remove the stinger. If you do not see signs of an allergic reaction, make sure your buddy has access to ample water and a comfortable space to rest. If you see any signs of an allergic reaction, call and get to a vet as soon as possible. Summer can be rough! Stay safe out there! please consult your vet if you have any concerns!

How are you keeping your buddies cool this summer?! This little one will be keeping cool in her it's going to be 100 degrees out tomorrow and she'll be in ac most of the day, we won't lie, but when she's out, she'll be rocking this harness! Hey everyone! Training your pet is so important! It's bonding time but it also helps your dog to know expectations! We might want to make sure they don't run out the door, or they sit and stay when asked, or they don't beg at the table. Whatever you want your dog to know, needs to be trained! Don't worry though!
