I have not posted in quite some time due to being very busy, but I think this is extremely important, especially for those of you who have dogs that interact with other dogs on a regular basis. I have 2 senior dogs right now & I am very concerned. It's certainly up to you, but if I were you, I would stay away from dog parks, doggie play groups, boarding/kenneling or anywhere else that your dogs usually interact with others.

Hello everyone. I will be re-opening on Tuesday. Just a few changes going forward. I will be booking all appointments, no more booking online. I have increased my groom prices $10 across the board due to the outlandish increases in Diesel. For any grooms that exceed the allotted time, there will be an additional charge of $1 per minute. This is usually due to condition of coat, uncooperative pups, elderly & sometimes just breeds that take extra time. Bernese, Doodles & thick coated Huskies are a few of the usual suspects. Just wanted to give a quick update to all my clients. I finally found an engine. Supposedly the only used one available in the country that’s compatible with my vehicle. Just ordered a new turbo as well. I’m probably about two weeks out from reopening. May be able to start rebooking as soon as next week. I’ll keep you updated.

I don't think many people are comfortable asking for help & I am no different. My engine in my work van has failed again. That makes the 2nd defective engine I have received from this company (if I am correct). 4 days ago I contacted 7 mobile mechanics that service this area. My request was pretty simple. Just need confirmation that my engine is shot. 2 showed me the courtesy of a response. One declined regretfully. He was very professional & very nice. The other was anything but either. This guy was a total jerk & don't know how he stays in business. The other 5 I have pleaded with them to just get back to me with no response. I am so angry & depressed right now and I need someone to please help me. It's not about money. I can get it towed for free by AAA. I really don't want to go thru the hassle for me, AAA & the service station. Let me be clear, I am not asking for a monetary favor. I am willing to pay. I am simply asking for the favor of any certified mechanic to confirm the damage, to the best of their ability, can so that I can send the info to these crooks in Houston Texas. Then I can begin looking for someone local to rebuild it, if they do not make me send another one back. Can someone please help?

I am so thankful that 95% of my clients are patient, thoughtful good-hearted people. The entitled, inconsiderate & selfish ones really make my blood boil. I've had a few of them in the past week. Never made it to the point of grooming their pets. Probably a blessing because they would've found something to complain about. Won't be surprised if they leave bad reviews because THEY are never the ones who are at fault.

Another challenging groom. The most difficult part was some tough matted crusties around the eyes. Fortunately, Peyton was very trusting. Even though he had been cut on the face previously by a groomer. Owner was very appreciative. (Review below) I must say though I did a hack job on one of his paws, lol:

My male Lhasa Apso was overgrown and matted after being long overdue for a groom. I was desperate to find a new groomer after taking him to a chain groomer for some time that just never seemed to care. I saw Trevor online and he was able to accommodate me quickly. He arrived ahead of schedule, immediately greeted my furbaby and gave him the best groom he's ever had! He smelled amazing and was delivered back to me a happy boy... Christmas bowtie and all. I will ABSOLUTELY be booking Trevor for all grooming in the future! Thank you Trevor for getting my baby boy all cleaned up for Christmas!!🎄♥️

This message is going out to my Windham clients. Up until now my pricing for Derry, Londonderry & Windham have been less expensive than all the other towns I service. After studying the profit a**lytics for all my towns, I can no longer keep Windham's price the same. I service well over a dozen towns & Windham is by far my least profitable town. Prices are going up immediately to match Salem, Pelham & all the other surrounding towns. Thank you!

This is Bear, the sweetest kitty I have ever groomed. Thank god because no cat would have allowed me to do what needed to be done to help this poor thing. She was severely matted. Once again, the usual blade to shave was not working well, so I had to go with the skip tooth which is even more dangerous with a cat because their skin is so much thinner than a dog. If you even nick them it opens up very wide. The mats on the legs were really tough. I don't usually touch the legs with a Lion's Cut, but I had to remove the mats. This kitty let me do whatever I needed to do to help her without scratching or biting. Picture #3 is a huge piece of p**p that was surrounded by hair & stuck to her a**s. So every time she p**ped it got bigger and bigger. She had to carry that weight around with it pulling on her a**l sacs. This was a first for me & I was so heartbroken for her.

This is Milly. One of the most challenging grooms I have had. Should have been easy, a simple shave down. The owners said she is so scared of getting her nails done that she freaks out when they clip their own nails. Nails was the easiest part. She was severely matted. She fought me at every single turn, except nails. She resisted, twisted & pulled away the entire time. I couldn't even use the blade that we usually use for shave downs because it would not get thru the tangles & mats. I had to use a skip tooth which is very sharp & dangerous even for a pet that is stationary. The legs undercarriage & private areas were really tough. At times I was working blind because she was continually moving. I was very thankful that she was very sweet, although a pain in the ass. More thankful & shocking that I did not hurt her

Kodiak is a Great Pyrenees / Anatolian Shepherd mix. Rescue from Arkansas, about 100 lbs, 2 years old. He was used as a beast of burden, so chances are good that he was not treated well. He was turned away by cautious groomers. He didn't want to get on my table, so I brushed him out on the floor. As soon as I was done, he hopped on the table without asking. Some groomers mistake a dog's actions as aggression. This big puppy did not show aggression. He was scared to death of getting sprayed with nozzle in bath. I thought he might hurt himself. This led me to believe that he was probably hosed off regularly outside. Most likely without regard for his face & ears. Drying took a long time, since he laid down for most of it & was very comfortable towards the end, as seen in pic #2. It was dark by the time I finished. I opened my cab door and he pushed his way through, & initially climbed onto the passenger seat. I told him we had to go, so evidently he thought that meant he was going to take the wheel, lol. About a 3 hour groom, but I love this pup!
