Cece came in to our rescue almost a year ago. She was underweight with some physical challenges. Through foster and medical care she got stronger and healthier. Cece was adopted but now owners are looking to rehome due to no fault of CeCe’s. Their medical issues as well as their belief she would be happier in a home with another dog were expressed. Our hope is to find this sweet girl a permanent home with no more transition. Please share and let us know if you are interested in CeCe.

Percy was a spunky little guy living in Charleston with a disabled mom who could no longer care for him. Some of our AMAZING partners No "Trouble" At All Animal Outreach asked if we could find Percy a new home. He has now been with his new parents 2 years!

Nala was one of our first rescues over 2 years ago. She was heartworm positive yet her heart was also so full of love. Her foster mom spent months caring for Nala as she learned to be a family pet. Her adopter came from NC to have this rescue dog become his best friend. Nala taught him how to be a pet dad and what a pair they make🥰

Another update! Woohoo🥳Dottie was with us for many months before her dad adopted her. We then reached out much later with another of our precious hounds to see if Dottie needed a buddy. Fast forward Pepper and Dottie have moved with dad to a new home and along the way become best friends. Merry Christmas to you all🎄💙

These chiweenies were in one of the many overcrowded shelters and needed to be saved ASAP. An independent foster stepped up to take in these 3 and provide the TLC they need before adoption. We will be providing HW treatment for 2 and alter for all. Thank you to their amazing foster mama. Instead of a fateful end they will be happy pets in the New Year! We will keep you updated!

Salty Dogs is helping dogs become more adoptable in rural shelters with limited income. Moose is a 3/4 year old lab mix who is housebroken, good with small dogs, sweet tempered. We provided, he finished his heartworm treatments like a champ and now deserves to get out of shelter life and become a real pet. Please share Moose who is available through Williamsburg County Animal Care and Control.
