“This Army soldier was on my delayed flight home yesterday to MS. He had to watch the birth of his daughter on FaceTime. He was crying and our hearts were breaking. We all gave him space. Two years ago, we stepped out in faith to fulfill the calling on our lives to share the love of God with the community. In November of 2021 the journey began when I resigned not only from a successful career, but also a path I had chosen for myself. After 50+ years of doing life my way, I submitted to His. Psalm 119:105 says the word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. As I’ve released all to Him, He continues to show us the details of His plan, but also sustain us. These two precious ladies at Philanthropy Lynchburg have blessed Promise Ranch in such a way that it is only God to give this glory. Only God unites strangers to produce an answer to prayer.
