Update: The vet called this morning and Tennesse is eating! This was the best news because with the level of emaciation she has, her body couldn’t sustain fighting this disease and not eating! The vet said with her now eating well both last night and this morning, her momma can come pick her up and continue at home meds and care. We aren’t completely out of the woods but her very guarded prognosis yesterday just went up to way more hopeful! ❤️ we will be paying the vet today so donations can be made straight to them at the number below this morning or through my links below if you’d like to donate after she’s been picked up! We are giving this bill for her mom so any help is appreciated!
Update: Bloodwork overall looks good organ function is okay. We are going to do 24-48hrs of hospitalization and see how she responds and if we can get her eating. Estimate is attached below for anyone who can donate! ❤️
One of our amazing fosters also rescues pitty babies off the euth list at DAS. This baby, Tennessee, she just picked up less than 2 weeks ago now has severe pneumonia potentially secondary to her heartworm disease. She was severely emaciated when she was picked up and is struggling despite at home treatment. We have decided to help with her medical bills so she can have tests run and hospitalization to see if she has a chance of beating this pneumonia in her current body condition. She is such a sweet girl and it sucks to see her with such a horrible past now affect her like this. She is very blessed she ended up with our foster to feel love and we’d love to help her be able to feel it longer.

Mr Bear is starting to play with moms tail and his new siblings ❤️ He is eating wet food from a syringe and looks to be about 3.5-4weeks old based on his development and having teeth.

Well guys, we did it again. Another super pregnant mom. We got a request for help about 30 minutes away tonight for this momma who was at an Airbnb in the country. The finder took her into her room to keep her safe but was leaving tomorrow and needed her to be picked up or would have to let her back out into the woods. We drive to get her tonight and she’s settling in here. All other cats the Finder saw were ear tipped so already altered as the owner of the place had done TNR awhile ago of the cats there. We need a name for this girl if anyone has any suggestions! This is our fourth girl like this and may not even make it til Monday to have her kids so we will keep everyone updated!

MEET ONE OF OUR ADOPTABLE GIRLS RONNIE!
We got four siblings Sunday and since there were 2 boys and 2 gals, we’ve named them our RIVERDALE 4: Archie, Jughead, Betty, and Veronica (Ronnie).
This girl is the most social and is the perfect combo of love and cuddles and playtime zoomies! She adores my kid and the other cats as well! If you’re looking for a cat that will be your Buddy then look no further! Veronica will love to follow you around and cuddle on the couch!
We are accepting applications for her at this time and if you’re interested in more info please reach out! She is currently due to her first vaccinations next week and will come with age appropriate vetting as well as agreement by adopter to finish boosters and do spay by 6 months of age.
Miss Panda will be available for adoption later this month. She is becoming super sweet after being thrown from a car and coming to us via a Good Samaritan who picked her up. She’s been through a lot and deserves the best home! Apply to meet Panda through our app linked at the top of our page! She is litter box trained and good with kids, other cats and kittens.
Little Willow is doing well! She’s gaining weight and more study on her feet. I spoke to the vet today with an update and we are going to monitor her until she’s 8 weeks old and when she goes in for first vaccine we will reevaluated her broken leg and see if she’s big enough for an effective splint.
Update: Little baby is here!! Resting and got some supportive care. She’s eating and we supplemented some KMR due to her being approx. 4 weeks old in size. We will have the vet appointment first thing tmw and they will keep her during the day for X-rays and let us know what’s going on. We aren’t sure if this will end in surgery or just supportive care so all donations are so appreciated! Donation links are on initial post and pinned posts at top of page. Thanks so much! 📣📣📣URGENT HELP NEEDED!📣📣📣
Well we took a little break during the kitten litter we lost and just making sure all the others are doing well and healthy. Then I got covid 😂 never ending but we are back and we were told this baby needed urgent help today. We are a small rescue but couldn’t see it going to a rural shelter with these types of injuries and potentially being put down for it so we are meeting the amazing finder for her today! She has a vet appointment tmw to get X-rays done and see what we are dealing with! This will not be an easy or cheap baby so donations are very much needed for her vet care and to give her the best chance at life!
