You may have spotted a new smile (and stethoscope) around the hospital lately…

We’re excited to officially welcome Dr. Thompson to the Roper Mountain team!

She’s a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences and already racking up tail wags, head boops, and maybe a few bribes in biscuit form.

We’re so lucky to have her and we think you’ll feel the same. 💙

After pausing our Saturday hours earlier this summer, we’ve decided to make this change permanent. We will remain open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

If your pet needs medication, food, or routine care, we kindly encourage you to plan ahead during the week. As always, we’re committed to being here for you and your pets — just with a schedule that better supports our team’s well-being and long-term sustainability.

🚨New Face Alert!🚨

You might notice a new (but very friendly!) face in the hospital on July 15th and July 31st. Dr. BJ Rogers will be joining us as a relief veterinarian to help care for your pets while we keep things running smoothly behind the scenes! 🐾

With over 26 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Rogers brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and calm energy to every patient she sees. She’s also not a stranger to some of our team — a few of us have had the pleasure of working alongside her at other hospitals in the past, and we’re so excited to welcome her here.

She shares our commitment to thoughtful, thorough care — and your pets will be in excellent hands. 💙

For the month of July, Roper Mountain Animal Hospital will be closed on Saturdays. This is a temporary adjustment as we prepare for some exciting changes to our hospital team.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to plan ahead for any prescription refills or non-urgent needs during this time.

☀️ Holiday Hours Reminder! ☀️

Our team will be taking a well-deserved paws for the holiday.

Roper Mountain Animal Hospital will be CLOSED Friday, July 4th & Saturday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day.

If your pet needs medication refills or food before the long weekend, please call us ASAP to get those requests in!

Stay safe, enjoy the festivities, and Todd will be here holding down the fort (or should we say… fur-t). 😸

It’s Veterinary Appreciation Day! And guess what?

We hit the jackpot with Dr. Ross. 🩺💥

She’s not just our fearless leader - she’s the glue, the backbone, the one sprinting between exam rooms with a stethoscope in one hand and her lunch (probably untouched) in the other.

Dr. Ross wears all the hats: owner, doctor, surgeon, therapist (to both pets and humans), problem-solver, and the occasional dog treat dispenser. Somehow, she balances it all with grit, grace, and that classic Dr. Ross determination.

We see you. We appreciate you. And we honestly don’t know how you do it all (but we’re really glad you do).
