How it all began...
First let me start off by saying I’ve never intentionally bred any animal, I’ve always been an avid spay/neuter person. So for me to get into the dog breeding business was not an easy or automatic decision. My daughter, Chesney, was working for Country Labradoodles and asked if I could help out being they were down to two employees at the time. I like dogs, so I said, sure! Now keep in mind, my daughter had been working with these wonderful dogs for a couple of months and excitedly said, “Mom, you should get one!” My reply, “Good God, I don’t need a dog with that much hair with all these country weeds!” So, fast forward to me working for this Australian Labradoodle breeder and absolutely falling in love with this breed. To hear the stories and emails of the dogs this breeder had bred that are current Service and Therapy dogs gave me chills, good chills. To see how this breed intuitively tunes into human emotions and ails. You see, this breed was originated in Australia with the Royal Guide Dog Association of Australian at the request of a blind client requesting an allergy friendly dog due her husband having dog allergies. A lot of careful consideration was put into creating this breed. Our intentions were to move out of state to set up for retirement where it’s a little more affordable. I went to work with the knowledge of it being temporary because we were getting out of Dodge. Since I enjoyed working with these dogs so much I suggested a possible satellite location with the breeder. Her suggestion to me was to start my own
