Are you a dedicated pet lover who finds joy in taking dogs for walks, exploring nature on hikes, and showering pets with affection? 🐶🐱 We’re looking for our next Professional Pet Sitter and Dog Walker to join our passionate team at Town & Country Pet Sitters!

What You’ll Do:
🐾 Walk dogs and provide enriching hikes to keep them happy and healthy.
🐾 Visit pets throughout the day (breakfast, midmorning, noon, afternoon, dinner, and bedtime) to give them the love and attention they need.
🐾 Ensure each pet receives undivided attention, fostering a bond and keeping them safe and content.
🐾 Work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

What We’re Looking For:
🐾 A true animal lover dedicated to high-quality pet care.
🐾 Availability for various times throughout the week — mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
🐾 Only one job commitment with us, so no other concurrent jobs or gig work.
🐾 Reliable transportation for timely visits to clients’ homes.
🐾 Great communication skills to keep clients informed about their pets’ well-being.

Compensation & Perks:
💸 Competitive pay: $16-$18 per hour.
💸 Hourly pay for time spent driving between visits.

A client has a friend with cancer and not long to live...this woman has two cats, Orville and Wilbur, two boys who are brothers, bonded to each other, 11 years old and very healthy. Their guardian is worried about finding a new home with them soon...

Can you add 2 sweet boys to your home? Or do you know someone who would be a good match?

Help us help this woman know that her beloved cats will be well cared for.

"Indoor/outdoor. They have lived both ways. At first they were free to go outside through a cat door, and they roamed the (low traffic) neighborhood, After Wilbur got hurt, J kept them inside for a few years, and they adjusted well to that. Now they go out occasionally (no cat door) but I think they mostly stick to J's large garden. I think they'd be okay either way but should probably stay inside until they've adjusted, though they'd like to be able to look out.

They haven't lived with dogs, but dogs have visited, and the cats have been fine with them."

Hopkinton, MA in-person meeting about off leash dogs on trails

Too many people avoid using the trails or have a bad experience because of encounters with dogs, often off-leash. Some people want their dogs to be able to run untethered in a field or woods. There are ways to accommodate more people like these to use trails. Other towns have done it - we can try some options too.

Update: cat sighted in the backyard of the house across the street by the neighbor but the cat wouldn’t come close. My lead sitter went over with wet food and cat treats but by that time the cat wasn’t around.

Holliston MA Lost cat as of yesterday morning - Oyster got loose while client was packing up to leave and is still gone. Please keep watch and share! They live in the neighborhood behind Colonial Way in Holliston.
