Sable has opened her eyes some today! She is weighing in at almost 2 pounds already, and will be two weeks Friday! She eats for about 30-45 minutes every 3 hours and is FEISTY! She will growl at ya and bark at ya if she’s not happy! She is a BOSS baby!

Found this little nugget doing research of colors in the French Bulldogs of 19th and 20th centuries. This is from a very reputable source (published in "The French Bulldog, Kennel Classics" by Muriel P. Lee). The dog considered to be GROUND ZERO for French Bulldogs is described as a Blue and White Pied in 1849. It doesn't get more original than that. The colors have ALWAYS been there. So when you see AKC registrations such as those attached, now it makes sense... All of these dogs are entered in Ingrus and can be viewed with pedigrees.
