If Benny can do it, so can your dog! Benny was not a fan of me arriving at the house (pacing back and forth and fleeing info the backyard) but after getting him on leash and taking the leash to walk him around, he started to relax and open up. We were luckily able to act on this progress and take him for a quick stroll to show him it was possible to walk on a leash and enjoy a nice adventure outside with Joy at Healing Heart Rehab.

She may be putting in the work with him but she is hoping to find Benny a new forever home! If you are interested in this sweet boy please reach out to healing heart rehab.

🆘UPDATE ON GROUP CLASS TIMES🆘

With the temperature dropping each week, we have decided to plan ahead and condense group class into one-time slot a bit later in the morning. The group will still be divided into two levels (Beginners and Advanced) and will run this way until further notice during the cold months.

Please reach out if you have any other questions! The price is the same: $25 per class, $100 for a package of 4. This past weekend we introduced something new that we look forward to continuing to implement.

Salem, a spirited Weimaraner with a personality as big as his energy levels. Lily Rose has shown tremendous progress in her journey to gain more confidence! Yesterday she stayed by the front door as I walked in and let me pet her and offer her treats, which was impossible a little over a month ago. Lily was a long term stay at the shelter, which I do believe had behaviorial consequences but we are over that chapter in life and onto a new lifestyle with her brother scooter and amazing owner! Which I am so thankful for along with the fosters through APAC that saw the true potential in her. Everything gets better with time! We are all looking forward to helping Lily continue her progress through group class learning 🙌

🐾 Welcome, Maggie! 🐾
Meet Maggie, a beautiful Presa Canario who’s just started her in-home training program at NXT Level Canine! With her long, serious face, she looks like she’s contemplating life’s deepest questions – but really, she’s just wondering if that snack is for her. 😆
Maggie’s family describes her as almost perfect – except for that pesky habit of not listening 100% of the time. That’s where we step in! Our goal is to help Maggie fine-tune her obedience so she can live up to her full potential as the cooperative companion she was born to be.
✨ Fun fact: Presa Canarios were originally bred in the Canary Islands as working dogs, known for their strength, loyalty, and calm demeanor – but don’t let their stoic faces fool you; they’re total softies for their families!
We’re excited to help Maggie and her family build an even stronger bond through training. Stay tuned for her progress! 🐶💪

Kulot has officially graduated from our board and train program and wrapped up her go-home lesson with her pet parents during Saturday morning group class! This sweet Labradoodle now has a ton of new skills to show off and is settling back in at home, soaking up love from the best pet parents a pup could ask for. 🐾✨

Stella, an almost 6-month-old Cane Corso puppy, is making big strides during her stay at the NXT Level Canine Academy! Her family wanted to ensure she’ll be a well-mannered, confident companion as she grows into her full size – and Stella is absolutely up for the challenge. 🌟

✨ Fun fact: Cane Corsos were originally bred in Italy as guard dogs and are known for their loyalty and intelligence!

Happy Veterans Day to all the Americans who have answered this great nations call. NXT Level Canine’s roots stem from an Air Force Kennel at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, where my wife and I once served with 4 legged heroes and learned so much along the way. I found my calling during my time in service, and I will forever be thankful. Discounts will ALWAYS be available for our hero’s who serve(d) here in Central Texas.

Meet Kulot, an almost 8-month-old Labradoodle puppy who’s checked into her board and training and channeling all that puppy energy into some serious obedience skills! 🐾 For such a young pup, her ability to stay calm and listen in a group setting is impressive – a true star in the making! 🌟
Fun fact: Labradoodles are known for their playful personalities and sharp minds, which makes them a blast to train but also means they need a lot of mental stimulation to keep them happy. With the foundation we’re building, Kulot’s family will have a pup they can enjoy, work with, and continue growing alongside.
