This is a rescue organization in Oklahoma created to rescue dogs in need, promote spay and neuter programs, and to educate the public regarding the bully breed. Currently millions of pets are euthanized every year due to over population. With the help of volunteers and donations we can help to provide low cost spay and neutering for our pets. With the support of donations, we can rescue and rehabi

litate dogs in need. We will provide shelter, care and training for those who are homeless. We work to find forever homes and once adopted we will support the adoptive owners to keep their new family member permanently. Finally, pitbull breeds are in grave distress. Of the dogs in shelters, 70-75% are pitbulls or pitbull mixes. Only 1 in 600 find a home and the remainder are euthanized. Due to the pervasive negative publicity surrounding this breed, there is a reluctance to allow one to become a family member. Yet this breed once was the most popular dog in the country, was the marine mascot, was called the nanny dog. We like many other ground breaking groups, we are working to change this negative perception to help this wonderful breed to obtain homes. Contact info:

Meet Luigi! He is such a great little puppy! Luigi is 13 week old chihuahua who is full of energy. He loves to play outside and wrestle with his brother!

Luigi is great with kids and will sit and snuggle with you any day of the week!

He is potty trained, and doggy door trained.

Meet Fritz, the handsome dog who wants to be your main man. At 2, he is still young enough to be goofy but old enough to have the most perfect manners, and he would love to es**rt you wherever you need to go, from around the house to out on the town. He has almost impeccable manners, and while he will go in the crate, he doesn’t need one because he is an exceptional listener. If you are looking for the perfect mix of faithful companion, look no further.

Meet Trigger, or as he should be known, Tigger because this puppy is bouncy! A high energy puppy, adventurous and inquisitive, Trigger has settled into family life quickly. He's made friends with the big and little dogs, has learned to respect the cats but is still trying to learn about chickens. He's a friendly happy puppy, he's mastered the doggy door and the cat window, still trying to master potty training but is well on his way, he understands 'hurry up' as his cue to potty outside.
He's cuddly and affectionate, loves attention, people and children and would be a great addition to any family.

Scout lives up to her name, she can find anything from food to a comfy spot to the latest action. She gets along with big dogs, small dogs, cats and doesn't bother the chickens. She especially likes people and children. Scout is a smart puppy, she knows her name, will sit before eating and has mastered the doggy door and cat window to access the outside. She knows'hurry up' means it's time to potty, her house training is coming along very well.
Scout loves the water, running around the yard and playing. She's just as happy snoozing or coming in for a cuddle. This little dog has lots of love to give and will be a great addition to any family.

Errol is not always decked out. Some days he is a layabout. Sitting is what he does for treats, not in his off time.
He takes relaxation very seriously.
Crate trained, dog door trained, he's good with dogs and kids.

Andre is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. He’s a big fan of toys and bones — happy to play with friends or entertain himself like the independent little guy he is. His crate is his happy place, where he loves to curl up for a midday snooze or take a quiet break.

While he can be timid with new things, Andre is an expert at sofa snuggles and will happily keep you company if there’s an open lap nearby. Truly, there isn’t an aggressive hair on this boy — just kindness through and through.

Andre is looking for someone to help build his confidence and show him the world isn’t so scary. He’d be the perfect match for a homebody or someone working from home (bonus: he’s wonderfully quiet, so no surprise barking during Zoom meetings!). Andre is looking for that gentle forever home; he is neutered, up to date on shots, on preventatives and microchipped.

Meet Liam!
Liam is a happy boy with just the right dash of spice. He’s still working on his potty training, but he’s already a pro at crate time—especially since he knows a treat is coming. Liam does great on leash and absolutely loves mealtime… plus yours, if you’re not watching closely.

He enjoys playing with his brother (and being a bit of a boss) as well as his big foster sisters (who return the favor). Outside, Liam is an enthusiastic yard helper—digging holes, exploring, and working hard at all things fun.

His favorite game? Sneaking—or charging—into the closet to steal socks and shoes. In Liam’s mind, the word “No” clearly means “chase me!” After all that excitement, he’s happiest snuggling on the couch for nap time, covering his people in kisses.

If you’re looking for a joyful, mischievous companion who will keep you laughing and loved, Liam is your guy.

🍫 Meet Snickers! 🍫
Sweet, smart, and just the right amount of sassy.

This playful pup is full of personality! Snickers lives for squeaky toys and tug-of-war matches, and she’s never met a kid or dog she didn’t like. She’s been around all kinds of people and loves making new friends—her tail wags say it all!

Snickers is crate trained, nearly potty trained with a doggy door, and already knows a couple of basic commands. She’s sharp and eager to learn—but be warned: water is not her love language. Bathtime? Hard pass.

If you’re looking for a clever, social girl with a love for fun (but not the tub), Snickers is your girl!

Meet Skye — a beautiful, bright-eyed Aussie Spaniel mix who’s just under a year old and desperately in need of stability. At only 9 months old, Skye has already been adopted and returned *three times*—not because of anything she’s done wrong, but because her people underestimated what it takes to care for a high-energy working breed.

Skye is not a couch potato. She’s an intelligent, active, and sensitive girl who needs structure, patience, and purpose. She’s been bounced from home to home, and it’s taken a toll. What she needs now is someone who truly understands her breed, her needs, and her heart.

Long story. But it's his story.

Once upon a time, 3 dachshund mix puppies came to Legacy of Hope. They had been tossed off a bridge.
One of them, later named Sully, was injured. His jaw was dislocated and he was in pain.
He was treated, and he went on to be adopted into a loving family. For 4 years he lived the dream. A family, home. Friends.
Then he jumped off the bed and injured his back.
Now named Mike, he was diagnosed with IVDD. Intervertebral Disc Disease. IVDD is when these discs deteriorate (calcify/harden), wherein they become susceptible to bulging or bursting - especially with hard impacts (jumping off a couch, steps, rough play, etc).
The cost of surgery is exorbitant, and the time frame for it is minimal. With no guarantee of success.
Mike's family did all they could to avoid returning him. They love him. He is family.
But the home ,yard and work schedule made it impossible .
Mike is in his original foster home, Tammy is taking great care of him. Dr. Martin has been doing acupuncture on him a few times a week. He has his chair and his drag bag. And he is available for adoption.
Bear in mind that he is not a novelty, probably not for a first time handicapped pet owner. He needs a home with people who will take care of all his needs, medical or otherwise. He is a loving boy, good with kids and dogs
