Meet Cardi B 💕

Rescue: Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue – Broken Arrow, OK

Cardi B is a sweet, gentle soul with so much love left to give. At 7 years old, this lovable pittie mix has the perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back charm. She enjoys lounging in the sun, rolling in the grass, and playing with other dogs.

Her story is a touching one—adopted as a pup, Cardi B was returned to rescue after 6 years when her human mom sadly passed away. Despite this loss, she has fully adjusted to her foster home and continues to shine with her kind and affectionate nature.

Cardi B isn’t kennel-trained, but she doesn’t need to be—she’s perfectly behaved when left out and never gets into mischief. She’ll always be waiting at the door with tail wags and happy greetings when you return. Most of all, she loves being close to her people and soaking up all the cuddles she can.

She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but with people and dogs, Cardi B is an absolute treasure.
She’s ready to find her forever family and promises to fill your home with love, joy, and companionship.

Santas helpers have been busy today. Two more trees have been delivered and set up for our Angel trees for the dogs. One is at v**e this in broken arrow and the other is at embody fitness in broken arrow. One will be up at fetch in Bixby soon.

Meanwhile, another helper was printing more. Angel tree tags and a third Helper was off doing an adoption this evening.

Meet Grace – a soulful, sensitive girl with a heart as big as her blocky head. Found as a stray in West Tulsa, Grace came with some serious trust issues, but this smart cookie didn’t let that stop her. She enrolled in a board-and-train program (we like to say she went to college) and graduated with honors. She’s come a long way, and she’s ready for her next chapter.

Grace is what we lovingly call a "unicorn dog" – she needs a special, experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. She’s nervous around new people and other dogs and can be a bit avoidant at first, sometimes trying to bluff her way through interactions. But once she knows you're her person? Total velcro dog. She wants nothing more than to be by your side, all day, every day.

Her ideal home is calm, structured, and patient. She’d thrive as the only pet, in a quiet home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. Grace has so much love to give – snuggles, devotion, a few slobbery kisses… and yes, some powerful pittie t***s. 💨

She’s not for everyone, but we know her perfect match is out there. And when they find each other? It’ll be magic.

Ila — the fun-sized firecracker with a whole lot of heart!
At 4 years old, this bully mix is strong, smart, and hilariously food motivated. She starts her mornings (and post-nap zoomies) like a jackrabbit, ready to fetch, play, and bounce her way into your day. Toys? Obsessed. Playtime? Never optional.

Ila is a lover through and through — she melts for pets, scratches, and cuddle breaks between adventures. After a good play session, she’s all about the cozy nap life.

She’s kennel-trained, affectionate, and would absolutely shine with a doggy buddy to match her playful energy. A 6ft fence is a must for this athletic girl.

Lu Lu — your future sidekick in sunshine and snuggles.
This 4-year-old Lab mix is a certified “stick-with-you” girl who wants to be part of everything you and your pets are doing. Nervous at first? Sure. But give her a minute and she’ll warm up like she’s known you forever.

Lu loves outdoor playdates, gets along with most dogs, and is a surprisingly good listener — the kind who learns fast and tries hard.

If you’re looking for a loyal buddy with a sweet heart and playful streak, Lu’s your girl. 🖤🐾

Skye is so ready for a reset — and she’d be ridiculously grateful for a foster home with patience, a yard, and maybe a sense of humor.

This one-year-old Aussie mix (or at least aspiring herder) has zero shyness, tons of personality, and a whole lot of “let’s go!” energy after being in boarding. She’s good with other dogs, smart, a little stubborn, and always up for action.

Mike/Sully, sporting his utilitarian drag bag. He prefers it to the wheelchair, he has no trouble fitting in spots, and can lay down when he wants.
His foster says he would like to get a new one for Christmas, maybe something prettier 🤣

He also wears medium disposable dog diapers, which he was embarrassed to see that I photographed . But I think should be on his list.
Sully is available for adoption to an informed adopter. We want to make sure his next home is his last.

Brawnie does not need any more practice with his sad face. We think he's got it down.
I didn't give him all the toys yesterday, just a couple treats, and this was the result. A good sit and a face that makes you want to hug him.
Brawnie is looking for someone with many toys, and some treats. Definitely a kiddie pool.
