Wow, thank you all SO much for the support that you gave us this past weekend when we announced we were closing up shop. ❤️ When we sent the email and made the post on Instagram, we were hoping to close the business by using up as much of our extra materials as possible and cut our losses, but in just TWO DAYS we have oversold on cat homes. We are so, SO touched by our community's belief in our brand and in our products and are so immensely grateful. All this being said, because we have oversold in this weekend alone, we unfortunately must end the final sale early and produce cat homes on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once we finally run out of cardboard and materials, we will be refunding the remaining orders and making moves to sell our laser cutters and move out of our facility. Also, please note that because of unprecedented order volume, it will take us longer than normal to get orders out. Your patience is appreciated. Again, we are so incredibly grateful for all the love, support, and well-wishes we have received as we transition to different ventures. Words really cannot describe the feeling that we've gotten seeing our community come together in support one last time. TL;DR - We are closing Cardboard Cat Homes. 💔 We will have a final 30% OFF SALE until Saturday, April 16th or when our materials run out - whichever comes first. After this date, we will close up shop and sell our designs as only digital files under a new brand name. Shop at link in bio. ❤️ Thank you all for supporting our small business. We have been overwhelmed over the past year by all the love we've received and we're so incredibly grateful for our community built on the foundation of a love for all things cat. Growing Cardboard Cat Homes has been an incredibly humbling, educational, and amazing experience that we wouldn't trade for anything. ❤️ Unfortunately, as orders increased we found ourselves in a difficult situation. In order to keep selling physical products and staying on top of our shipping promises, we'd have to find a manufacturer. This step would come with minimum order quantities and high upfront costs. After a lot of thinking, we've decided that this was not a step that we wanted to take. Moving forward, we will be selling our designs as digital files under a new brand name. This new e-commerce store will be a purely digital file store with a mixture of free products and paid products for download. These files can then be used by our customers to cut out their own cat homes on their personal laser cutters, on a community laser cutter, or by using a laser cutter service. The files can also be adapted to CNC machines or can even be used to cut out designs by hand. We understand that this is disappointing for many of our customers who have shown so much support for our brand and the quality of our products. We will be having a final 30% OFF SALE FOR ONE WEEK ONLY, UNTIL SATURDAY, APRIL 16th. Supplies are limited so it's very possible that we'll run out of materials before Saturday. After this point, we will no longer be producing cardboard cat homes and will transition completely to selling purely digital design files. Thank you all
