In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

***Planned Breeding Announcement***

Buffalo Valley Kennels is very excited to announce the upcoming breeding of HRCH Lexi Lue’s Surly Sailor MHR (One Grand pass) to HRCH Ariel’s Last One For The Road. Both of the breeding pair have proven to be excellent family companions and stellar examples of the breed, in both hunting and hunt test environments. The pedigree of this much anticipated litter is outstanding and truly shows the thought and passion that’s been put into this breeding.

The dogs included in the three-generation pedigree of this breeding are some of the most iconic dogs of the past decade in the Boykin world. Just to name a few of them: GRHRCH UH Saint Thomas Chief MH MHR OCH 10, 14 (one of four Boykins to have earned a Grand title); HRCH Lexie Lue Campbell (one of two female Boykin Spaniels to whelp a Boykin that have a Grand pass); HRCH Brandywines Summer Shandy MHR (one Grand pass & has sired the most HRCH Boykin Spaniels in history); HRCH Wrecker’s Southern Mermaid MHR (the second Boykin female to whelp two Boykins to pass the UKC International Grand & has whelped the most HRCH Boykin Spaniels in history); HRCH Justahomewrecker PCH 05, NCH 06, UICH 06, UOCH 08; Re*****on Steele (because everyone wants a Re*****on Steele puppy); HRCH UH Brandywines Bessie’s Mojo UNCH 11, UOCH 17. Of the 14 dogs that make up the three generations of this breeding, eleven of them have an HRCH title.

Not only have all the dogs listed in this pedigree proven themselves at the highest levels of the hunt test game, they’ve proven to pass down the innate qualities we’re all looking for in a hunting/family companion. We’re truly blessed to own both Sailor and Roadie and very excited to see what the future holds for their offspring and their upcoming families.

Had a great trip up to PA to run High Flyers HRC this weekend. Great grounds, judges, and some really good dog work. The young Boykins all looked great running some very nice seasoned tests, pictured is Goose who achieved his HR title this weekend.

Very proud of all of our dogs this weekend at the Boykin Spaniel Society field trial. Pictured of course is Aurelia with Sailors 4th place ribbon in the Open Division. Below is a list of Sailor and Blue puppies that earned ribbons at this years National. Hopefully I didn’t leave anyone out.
