Our Sunday morning was spent with these two sweet boys who came in to help us save some lives.

Asher started us off by donating for his 12th time and Tom followed donating for his 6th time.

Thank you to both their moms for always making time for us. Our mighty little blood bank solely relies on the generosity of our volunteer donor families for support ❤️

In case you couldn’t tell, Winnie is an absolute doll. She donated for her 4th time today and gets more and more comfortable with us at each visit.

Having gone through a ruptured splenic mass and internal bleeding with another dog who received Bluepearl Paramus blood products, Winnie’s family knows first hand how impactful her donations are. And we are so grateful for it!

Not to be outshone by our German Shepherd , we had an entirely Labrador donor day today and there wasn’t a single tail not wagging!
Xebo, Emil, Sam & Josie are all career change Seeing Eye dogs and contributed a total of 12 life saving blood products for pups in need.

We had big things happening around here today. Hughes donated for his very first time and did amazing! His favorite part? The toy box and all the love of course. One of our seasoned donors, Otis, earned his TWO GALLON certificate today 🎉

We had some handsome hunks today. Mjölnir is our sweet and subtle dobie who donated for his 9th time and Granite is one of our many (coveted) Seeing Eye Sheppies who completed his 10th donation today!

Is there something going on today besides these 4 *gorgeous* dogs saving lives??

We had an incredible lineup today. Our 3 linebackers Granger, Kalvin, and Cavu are definitely fan favorites and just finished their rookie season with 5 donations under their belt. Our quarterback Mercy is all business when it comes to saving lives but absolutely loves meeting with her fans. She’s a seasoned veteran with 9 donations and is just getting started.

We have open enrollment tryouts for any K9 looking to see if they too can be a . Link in our bio! 🐾

Kevin not only met his 8th donation but met his 🏆GALLON 🏆milestone!! Tucker donated for the 5th time and was so excited to pick his new toy. Nothing like saving lives with wagging tails!!

Today's are sisters, Jordan #9 and Photon #3. They are both going to be first time big sisters soon to a little human! It's an exciting time for them. Thank you to their mom for making time for us today.

Lincoln donated for his 7th time today and earned his ONE GALLON certificate, which makes him kind of a big deal!
This sweet boy is a career change canine out of The Seeing Eye organization. His older siblings were also for us before they retired.

🩸Bart ROCKED his very first donation (no surprise as he is a seeing eye pup.
🩸Asher not only donated for his 11th time, but brought his brother Buster to see about joining the club!
🩸Not to be forgotten, Tom donated for the 5th time today and is just the sweetest!
⭐️ The end result? 15 blood products ready to be given to dogs in need!

January is National Blood Donor Month and this Golden boy was today's donor hero. Oliver donated for his 9th time today and is quite possibly one of the sweetest boys! ❤️
Thank you to his mom (who is 8 months pregnant!) for still making time for us and supporting this mighty little blood bank. We have the most supportive donor families and we couldn't do what we do without them.

We are starting National Blood Donor month off strong. Today's donor heroes were Chuck, who donated for his 17th time, his kid sister, Rosie, who donated for her 6th time and..... 🥁Drum roll please..... Osi, who donated for his 2️⃣8️⃣th time!!! 🎉🎉

The need for canine blood is at an all time high. Due to the increase in the amount of emergency and specialty medicine hospitals available and the quality of care offered, blood transfusions are now common practice. Most emergency/specialty/tertiary care veterinary hospital utilize canine and feline blood products. Please consider letting your healthy dog (50lbs or larger) be a life saving blood donor.

🎆WE'RE BACK!!!! The mighty little blood bank is back from the holidays and this sweet boy started our 2024 off with a perfect donation!
Riley donated for his 12th time this morning. He's a pro 🏆
It's also, National Blood Donor month....

Most people do not realize that dogs need blood transfusions for all the same reasons humans do. The need for safe and screened canine blood is at an all time high.
Our little blood bank performed 214 collections in 2023 and because we have the ability to make components with 1 unit of collected whole blood, we produced 642 units of canine blood products last year.

It's definitely a labor of love to run a blood bank but knowing we help provide LIFE -SAVING blood to dogs in need all over the country makes all the hard work worth it. We would not exist without the generosity of our donor families. Thank you for entrusting us with your "kids". 🫶🫶🫶🫶

Currie came first thing this morning all decked out in her holiday attire to donate for her 11th time.
This girl has given us 1️⃣5️⃣ opportunities to help save another family's dog this year. That is what just ONE canine blood donor can do in ONE year. That is amazing!

We have 2 days of donors to share just in
time for "Giving Tuesday"

Monday, sweet Xebo came in to donate for his 5th time. He's part of our black lab gang and is out of TSE. His tail never stops wagging!

Tuesday we started off with a shy but sweet Winnie (GSD) who donated for her 3rd time. Winnie came up north as a puppy from Mississippi with a rescue. She had a rough start in life and can be shy in new places but her mom has worked so hard with socializing and training. Winnie is getting braver everyday and loves going to doggie daycare. We love having her in our program.

Then Gritts closed out the day by donating for his 7th time. He has a new puppy in the house and brought him along for the ride.

We have dogs from so many different backgrounds and we like to share their stories so you can see that so many types of dogs can be amazing life-saving blood donors.

This Thanksgiving we are giving thanks to our donor families for their continued support! Without them, we would not exist.

This week our were Lemon and Otis. Lemon comes from a family of 5 canine blood donors ❤️ and Otis donated for his 14th time! Together, these 2 have given us 96 units of canine blood products over the years. (1 donation = 3 products). All our donors have been life-savers many times over.

Sundays are for saving lives and that's what this girl did today. Mercy donated for her 8th time and she is perfection on 4 legs. She is an absolute joy to be around ❤️

For those new followers we have, Mercy is not a Doberman, she is a Beauceron. They are a herding breed that originated from Central France and are the largest and one of the oldest, French breeds. It is noted though that Beaucerons were one of the breeds used to create the Doberman. Fun facts!

The blood bank was on a week long hiatus but we're back at it today. We have another ONE gallon donor - Leo belongs to one our emergency doctors and has been in our program for a year and half now. He's always ready for action and is the sweetest boy.

Bear donated for his 3rd time today and he's a little on the shy side but he's warming up to us. His mom is one of our CSRs and always makes time to help support our mighty little blood bank.
