Guys! Guys! My nose is doing so much better! I wanted to share with you about what my mama’s been doing.
First, I know, there’s a lot of influencers out there trying to get you to buy all sorts of things, I’m not one of them. I don’t get paid to sponsor stuff at all, I only share stuff my mama buys that works for us.
And we love Super Snouts so much!
We’ve used chill out chews for years for scary stuff like thunder storms and fireworks and they are incredible.
After some research my mama discovered Turkey tail mushroom powder. Holy buckets, in just a few weeks my nose looks and feels so much better! From super snouts- medicinal mushrooms have antihistamine properties that can help not only control allergies but can stabilize mast cells in the body (hey, that’s what I have- inflammatory mast cells!) Histamine is what causes much of the inflammation, redness and irritation.
I thought this might be helpful for some of you out there with furbabies with allergies or furbabies with cancer. It’s sure working for me and my nose!

Rescue dogs don’t need pity, they need vet care, love, groceries and boundaries (like all pets no matter where you got them).
Saving Dobermankind will be bringing this girl in very soon. We don’t know her story other than found as a stray.
We here at Coats For A Cause will be donating her a coat, food and wellness care items (aka supplements).
Oksana will take some time to get to a healthy weight and needs to be evaluated by vet to make sure she is HW free etc.

Oh my gosh I love this coat! Brick is modeling a double fleece coat and snood for a beautiful boy named Jeffrey! The purple plaid coat is to small for him to model, that is for Jeffrey’s foster sister with Mile High Rescue we are donating.
This! When dog movies are released it brings awareness to particular breeds and often a surge of people wanting said breed. This is so well said!! Please read the entire post! Kudos to them for making an awareness that wouldn’t be rolled in the credits of the movie.
There is a movie coming out on Feb 18 called "Dog". It stars Channing Tatum and a highly trained Belgian Malinois. It's a road trip/buddy movie.
People are going to see this film and many will want their own Belgian Malinois. This is not going to end well for this breed.
A highly trained Malinois is a work of art. So is Michelangelo's statue of David but I don't necessarily want it in my living room.
This breed can be amazing in the right hands but they require a lot of everything. If you are considering getting a Malinois, please, first go meet some Malinois of all ages at your local rescue.
Be honest with yourself about the amount of time that you have to dedicate to training one of these dogs. Not the person that you want to be but the person that you are right now. Sitting on your ass and reading this post.
If you are still determined to get one. You can stem the inevitable tidal wave of Malinois that will be surrendered to the shelters by sourcing your dog in one of 3 places:
Your local shelter
A local Malinois rescue
A real, ethical breeder (researching one is hard work but an ethical breeder will prove their dogs and require that you return the dog to them if you can't keep it)
DO NOT get a Malinois from the guy down the street. Don't help backyard breeders line their pockets. Pure bred doesn't equal good breeding.
If you see the popularity of these dogs sky rocket and think you can make a quick buck by breeding some. May all of your financial ventures fail one after another.

11 months of consistency, hard work and trial and error to find the right training techniques and tools for her. 11 months of daily walks and most days are two walks a day for miles each time. 11 months of her spinning, barking, pulling and having so much speed on leash sometimes I’d jog to try to wear her out. 11 months to get to a loose leash walk.❤️ Dolly, came to us June 2020 at 11 years old. I love senior dogs as they typically are “what you see is what you get “ dogs and generally looking for love, cuddles, good meals, slow walks and a soft bed to live out their days. THIS WAS NOT DOLLY! Dolly was the hardest senior dog I’ve brought into our home in 21 years of rescue. There was nothing slow about this girl, she had no desire to connect unless there was food or walks involved and then once she got that it was off to her bed in the closet, her preferred place. She loved to go in the car but she was TERRIBLE! She’ll never be allowed off leash except in a fully fenced area because she still would take that opportunity to run away. I’m proud to say the last 11 months we’ve come a long way together. She’s quite the little gem who’s rough around the edges and I love her quirky self. To those who have dogs, regardless of where they come from (breeder, rescue, shelter) or their age when you get them please put the time in from day one that new family member comes home to teach them manners so they can be good canine citizens.
