Today would have been Jack and Delilah's last day of school before Summer vacation. We should have been planning camping trips and swimming at the lake. We should have been getting ready for my beautiful little girl's 9th birthday in August. She wanted a girls night with mom doing nails and watching movies and eating popcorn in the cozy blankets. Instead, I got to bring my babies home today in the only physical form there is left. You will live forever and everyday in my heart my sweet babies. Rest in sweet paradise. Someday I will hold you both in my arms again.

All it takes is one beautiful sunny drive to drop your babies off with a trusted family member. One last time hugging them and telling them you love them and watching them drive away, already missing them, for that to be the last time you will ever get the privilege of doing so. Life isn't always easy, but I used to be thankful everyday that through the hard times, at least I had my beautiful, wonderful, smart children. Friday, June 9th sometime around 10pm that beauty was ripped away from me and this earth. Saturday morning I found out that Jack and Delilah never made it to their destination with their father and other sister. And a few hours later I was informed that their vehicle had been pulled from the river near Grangeville, ID. All 4 inside deceased. This world is not fair and seems to be cruelest to those who least deserve it. On my way to dropping them off that last time l, we were driving by all the graduation portraits on the fence alongside the highway at Riverside high School and there were some graduates taking their pictures proudly alongside of their portrait. I happily told them both that someday soon that would be them up there.... I would give anything for them to have that chance. But now they never will. Just when they were really starting to blossom and grow and have friends and get so very smart. One week before summer vacation. They never will get that chance that so deserved.
