Massage isn’t just for dogs! Toshi has been receiving in home massages since 2022 and while the trust building took a little longer, he fairly quickly made the connection of his enhanced mobility/comfort and we came to a better understanding during his sessions. He will scream at me to keep me in line and I will apologize, give him the yummy stuff, and then go back to business. While he’s now in his super senior days, he still is reaping multiple benefits from regular massage. I l love this grump a lump more than words could every express. ❤️

Felix and his mom are famous in our neighborhood! I met them last year while walking Fiona and Munkie and would stop almost daily in the summer for chats and socialization for the pups. Felix has some health issues (don’t we all) including a luxating patella and a low grade heart murmur. His mom and I have been talking about therapeutic massage for awhile and after seeing my posts, she decided to have an in home session for Felix.

It took a little bit to warm up, but by the end of the session I was showered with kisses and he was super excited to play! We will be doing maintenance massages going forward every few weeks to keep him at his best. Welcome to the Rubba Pup family Felix! You’re such a cutie pie! 🥰

Everyone say hello to my new client Titus! He stole my heart the moment I saw him, but I had to coax him into feeling the same way at first with my secret weapon - hot dogs! Titus suffers from a luxating patella that goes in and out more often these days. With some therapeutic massage, we hope to strengthen his muscles and increase blood flow. This also will ease his compensatory muscles as they have been carrying a huge load of his weight when the patella is acting up. Welcome to the Rubba Pup family Titus!

Visited today to give the gift of loving touch - and to receive so much love back! I spent most of my time with Punchy, a senior pup who looking for her fur-ever retirement home, and Glow, a sweetie who will be ready for adoption once she is spayed. Bonus Pom puppy pic. Yuki started off the new year with a massage to help her after a fall two years ago left her struggling to stand at times. With this condition, it’s important to have weekly or biweekly massages to help increase blood flow to her back legs so that her muscles don’t become ischemic. Her shoulders and neck take the brunt of her weight, so I help by massaging her compensatory muscles. Finished her up with a lymphatic protocol. She was up running at the end of the session - all smiles. YAY YUKI! ❤️

When the rescue you volunteer at occasionally brings in 16 dogs and one can’t walk…you go there and spend an hour making the little sweetheart as comfortable as possible (right now she’s known as #16) ❤️ I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and all the people who tirelessly work and volunteer there. Open house Friday. Come find your new best friend.
