This is Sammy. She is my neighbor’s (my second family) dog. Her human siblings and I actually found her at All Pet’s Club and sort of conned her parents into getting her under the guise that she was a very mellow puppy. Sam is not and has never been chill. She is 10 years old and has the most energy of any dog I’ve ever met. Every single day I pick her up and she literally yells at me for not coming sooner. She yells at me and hits me with her head if I take too long talking to her mom before leaving her house with her. She yells at me the entire car ride to wherever we’re going that day. And she yells if I don’t throw her ball fast enough. She jumps non stop and has such a huge, playful personality. Sam is 100% a water dog and is happiest laying in any puddle (no matter how tiny), stream, or other body of water with her ball nearby.

I started walking Sam in the middle of June and have continued every day since. Her mom took her to the vet recently and the vet stated that Sam had lost 10 pounds and was looking great! I love this girl so much. She makes me laugh every day and I’m so grateful for our time together. 💜
