My son Cruze has a hard time processing. He doesn’t love physical touch (except his routinely night hug to mom and dad) He has an amazing imagination and such a kind heart but he struggles connecting with people. But he connects with these puppies on a different level than my other kids. He will probably have the hardest time with saying goodbye. Crème (or now he calls him Rooty {RootBeer}) is so loved by Cruze.

The Remi+Rowan litter is 4 weeks old now. That means they are half way to making some dreams come true and going to their forever homes! 🙌🏼 I am soooo excited about their new families! Each one of them is going to a great home where they will continue to be showered with love.

The last 3 weeks FLEW by! I love this stage! They can see and interact with us now so it makes things really fun! I love watching my kids with them. I’ll post some pictures in my story of everyday life with my kids and the puppies.

They beg every day to hold the puppies. 🥰 We know how important it is to keep our puppies safe, so for the first few weeks there really isn’t a lot of hands on... But from time to time we let the kids get in a snuggle and remind them how to support and hold the little guys. We are thoroughly enjoying this sweet litter!

“Momma? These puppies are sleepyheads! When are they going to wake up?”

Puppies are born underdeveloped. Their eyes and ears are sealed shut at birth and remain closed for 10-16 days. They are essentially born blind and deaf and don’t begin to see and hear until about 2-3 weeks of age. Puppies fully rely on their sense of smell to survive during the first few weeks of life.

They are one week old today! Their noses have started to turn black. They are moving around much more now, & make lots of fun little squeaking noises. 🥰

They have NAMES!! 🙌🏼🥳
I let my kids pick the theme for this litter and they came up with naming them after their favorite “Summertime Sodas”. ☀️🥤

What is your favorite summertime drink!?

My 14 year old daughter helped me with the photo shoot. (I could not do any of this without her help!)

I am soooo obsessed! 😍 They are 3 days old today. They have all gained weight. They are fantastic eaters and Remi is THE best mama.

We have puppies!! And Oh. My. Heart. 🥰😍🥰 We are so in love with these little guys! These cute little nuggets made their entry to the world yesterday (August 1st) and they are the best thing that’s happened to me all year!!

Remi gave birth to 6 tiny red toy/mini doodles!! 4 girls and 2 boys. Ranging in size from 9.0 oz to 10.4 oz. She did such an amazing job and is such a good mama!!

*We are grateful to have already found great homes for each of them! They are very luck to be going home to some really great families!! They will be going home in 8 weeks.
