I had to rush my sweet baby girl to Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital today . I stayed with her till late tonight. They ran blood work, x-rays, ultrasound, Echo, and are trying to keep her comfortable. At this time she is spending the night there in a oxygen enclosure. So far she is believed to be in heart failure. Pulmonary hypertension and has blood clots in her lungs. They have started her on a blood thinning med, heart meds and Lasix. And a sedative to keep her calm. I will not be in again tomorrow Friday December 29, which I will contact my clients that are scheduled for tomorrow. But I wanted to explain why I haven’t been in the last 2 days. This sweet girl means so much to me. She came in my life when I really needed her. She needs me now. And I will be there for her.
