There's nothing to see on this video, just listen. JeyDi was on the way to the vet. I have a parrot for a cat.

I cannot stress this enough, I speak on the phone, do FaceTime calls, text, send a letter, show my contract and no kitten should ever go to a home to live by itself for 10-14 hours a day with no humans or other pets. Ragdolls, especially, will not thrive! They will stress and then what??? A LOT!! That’s a big reason why corona mutates into FIP, STRESS. Ragdolls neeeeeeeed attention and interaction, this is the biggest reason why people want them as family members.

Getting a rescue kitten and a Ragdoll is also a great option. Many breeders (myself included) offer a discount for additional kittens too, sometimes that is a bigger expense than one can afford, a rescue helps give a cat/kitten a home and both then have a playmate! It’s a win-win! Other animals can be friends too 😁

We attempt to emphasize the importance of wet food over dry food to our parents, whenever feasible. What is the justification for this? Cats do not naturally drink sufficient water, which makes them prone to UTIs and kidney problems in their later years. We understand that some cats may absolutely refuse to eat wet food; in such cases, we recommend Dr. Marty's freeze-dried raw diet. We regard dry food as a snack option. As previously stated, this may not always be possible, and some cats will only eat dry food; therefore, we suggest purchasing a high-quality food or consulting a veterinarian. We also propose serving food on a plate rather than in a bowl to minimize whisker stress. Additionally, we advise against using plastic dishes, as they may cause chin acne in Ragdolls. I try to provide helpful hints on my page on a regular basis. My website contains a wealth of information, which may be beneficial even if you do not own a Ragdoll, as there are numerous tips available. Your welcome ❤️

As parents, we often feel that it's our responsibility to guide our children through life, to show them the world and everything we’ve learned along the way.
We think our role is to protect, teach, and help them navigate challenges.

But then, in the quiet moments, when they point to something with awe or look at us with that pure, unfiltered gaze, we realize something profound.
They are not only here to learn from us; they are here to teach us as well.

Children remind us of the simple wonders we’ve forgotten, the joy in the smallest moments, and the importance of being fully present. Through their innocence and curiosity, they show us the world anew.
In their eyes, we find the power of wonder, connection, and unconditional love.

In the journey of parenting, we often think we’re the ones offering wisdom, but the truth is, our children are guiding us, too.
They reflect parts of us that need healing and growth, helping us become better versions of ourselves.
They mirror back the love, patience, and empathy we sometimes forget to give ourselves.

Parenting is a shared path, a partnership of teaching and learning, where both parent and child evolve together.
It’s a reminder that we are all students and teachers in this beautiful, ever-changing dance of life.

I'm stuck in the van with my toddler. We went out to dinner as a family, and she had a meltdown because mom wouldn't let her throw chicken strips. So she screamed, and screamed, and kicked and kicked, and since I was the only one finished with my meal, I had the pleasure of dragging her out of Red Robin.
I carried her past the bar and everyone stared at me, most of them childless, I assumed. No one with children would give me that straight faced, lip twisted, look that seems to say, "If you can't control your kid, then don't go out."
Well... no. I can't control her.
Not all the time.
Not yet.
It’s going to take years to teach her how to act appropriately in public, and the only way I am ever going to teach that is to take her out and show her what's right and wrong. By saying no a million times, letting her throw a fit, and telling her no again.
These lessons take patience, hard work, and real world experiences, and I’m sorry to those at the bar who got irritated by my child's fit, but you are part of this practice. Your parents did the same with you, and that’s how you now know how to recognize when a child does something irritating in a restaurant. It’s how you learned to look at a situation and say, “That parent needs to control their kids.”
It’s how you learned to be a respectable person.
I get it. Kids are irritating when they are loud in a restaurant. I know. I’m living it. But before you get angry and judgmental, realize that what you are witnessing is not bad parenting, but rather, parents working hard to fix the situation.
You are looking at what it takes to turn a child into a person.
